Everything was so different here, much more grays then she had seen in one place before, that is other then the cave she had spent many years in in the past. But she was always wandering now, always. Seemed like it would never stop really. Ah well, life wasn't the greatest for her nowadays anyway.

Her wings were pulled close upon her back, she still couldn't figure out the allusion thing, so she couldn't hide them when she wanted to. Would be a good thing to learn though, considering others might think of her as a threat, she was actually, but only when provoked.

The black goddess padded along silently, peering around...where was she?

Runai had been wandering. He always wandered. His whole life had been wandering. How.. boring. Although from time to time it did seem to become a little more interesting, particularly when he found things that.. didn't belong here. Or picked a quick fight with Mafa.. those were always fun.

But no. Today would be boring, it was labeled so. Unless for some reason something was headed his way.

Eyes peered this way and that while he patroled the area, looking for maybe a little rat to pick at or a bone to throw. Maybe a hyena or something. But no. What he spotted was something.. much larger. Ears quirked forward as the sounds of shifting bones echoed through the area. Hmmn. With an arched brow, the male picked up his pace. He wasn't so silent himself, considering that his limp had managed to disturb the decayed terrain in the graveyard far more than any traveler passing through nowadays. Stupid limp.

"Who goes there?" He called, roughly. "If you're a stupid rogue or pridelander then you'd better turn around and go right back the way you came before I find you!" Runai added with a growl. Visitors wouldn't be permitted at the moment.

She heard a voice, it sounded, agitated to say the least. Silver hues peered around, she couldn't see anyone yet, there were too many things here that were in the way of helping her find who was calling out to her. She heard things shifting from paw to ground contact, and tried to decided whether to stay or go.

Her back still hurt from the fall, she wouldn't be able to take wing fast enough right now, she was very sore still. A rogue? She could be considered a rogue, she really had no home, a pridelander? No, that she was not though she knew several within the pridelands.

But then again, she could be neither.

"I am neither," she called out to the voice, whoever it was. Her voice was soft, though a bit rasped, she just wasn't having a very good day.

Silence. No reply? Oh darn.. A reply. Rune rolled his eyes. Neither?

"You didn't answer one of my questions. But whatever. Feel free to show yourself out." He responded quickly, no hesitation hinted in his voice. It was femanine.. obviously a girl. Age? Not sure.. she didn't sound like a threat.. but he still didn't want any tourists wandering around in his home. It wasn't a site to explore.

Again, his eyes strained. This time a figure began to emerge. Large.. black. Hmn. Lion, for sure.

Rage heard him speak again, a male voice, wasn't sure where he was coming from exactly. Perhaps wandering this way wasn't the best of ideas, but it wasn't like she could get up and fly away with tremendous speed, her fall from the sky was still taking its toll on her body. She wasn't healing as fast as she wished.

She could show herself? She heard something again, her eyes settled on an approaching brownish form, had black and white too seemingly splattered on his pelt. Mane was a lighter brown then he was, perhaps he had run into the king of these lands? That wouldn't be very good...

"Hello..." she said quietly, almost in a whisper, she wasn't sure what to expect from this one, he seemed angry. She shuffled her wings and set them upon her back tighter, as if to make herself seem less vulnerable maybe? But she was failing probably.

Rune didn't speak until he'd gotten just.. a little bit closer. Mmn. Definitely an outsider. The male frowned, eyes narrowing.

"Why are you here," He asked, although.. coming off more as if he were ordering her to state her purpose. Those beady black eyes of his studied her meanwhile, checking her from head to toe.. just to be sure. He didn't get very far though, before finding himself staring at her side. What.. were those? He'd never seen a real lion with wings.. he'd heard of them from Mafa and passing rumors.. gods and goddesses.. psh. Freaks, the lot of them. And one was HERE standing in front of him? The nerve.

The hair at his shoulders bristled as he slunk forward even further. "Get out. Your kind aren't welcome," He growled. Yes. No freaks in the graveyard. None. He needed to post a sign out along the borders so everyone knew.

"So get out. Before I make you," Rune added roughly, still frowning and grumbling to himself.

"I am just wandering, passing through here...I mean no trouble I swear..." he was looking at her like that...had he seen her wings? Oh no, if he was one who had a bad encounter with an immortal before, she could be in trouble."Oh calm yourself down...forget I'm here you idiot?"the darker side of her mused in her head.

Rage really wished it would go away.

But it wouldn't, unless she became whole one day.

Rage took a step back, the lighter side of her wanted no trouble, but the other side of her narrowed her eyes at him, a frown forming upon her maw. He dare try to get her out? Pfft, she could show him. "So much rage in your heart...I would watch on who you try to use it on....I am not one to be taken so lightly..."

"I don't care," Rune snapped, holding ground while the female spoke. "Your kind aren't welcome here." He'd repeated himself, but eh. "If you're not here for any trouble then what business do you have here? Passing through? You're headed in the wrong direction, then." He added flatly.

"So get out." Again, repetition. She didn't seem to be listening.

"Yes I am passing through, though if I'm going in the wrong direction, I could've found that out on my own. My kind aren't welcome here? Have you ever dealt with an immortal before? If you haven't, I would advice you to not act disrespectful to me..." Ryu'Rage flicked her tail. Light swirling with dark in her body, each aura trying for dominance, though the black was engulfing the light within her.

"I will go when I decide now...perhaps I might stay, just to annoy you...plus, you don't seem so menacing to me...you just seem like a fluffball..."she snickered.
PostPosted: Sat Feb 03, 2007 10:28 am

"I've heard of you. Freaks, all of you. Go where you please, do what you please when you please.. assuming that you're the best over anyone. I'd prefer to think of you all as parasites that plague the savannah." He responded with a snarl. He wasn't much in the mood for a fight. He needed all his strength for future bickers with Mafa. He preferred to not waste any energy on a stupid immortal.

"And I'll disrespect you if I want. You don't own me and your definitely not the boss of me. And considering that YOU'RE the outsider and trespasser here YOU should be respecting me. Not the other way around," He spoke, although turning meanwhile. Why should he waste his time on this moron. She was stupid and would probably leave after seeing there was nothing of keen interest here. Just a lot of shadows and bones.

However he halted at the next response from her, ears quirking upward while his head turned. "WHAT did you call me?!" He snapped, tail flicking this way and that with irritation. In a split second he'd spun on heel, quickly taking a leap at the goddesses direction. "Why don't you just shut up!" He yelled meanwhile with a snarl.

"I will give as good as I get fluffball...though if you want respect, perhaps I could call you MR. Fluffball, how about that?"She said with a dark grin. She flicked her tail, noting how annoyed he seemed when she called him that. Yes, she would give as good as she got, and right now that wasn't a lot. He wanted to call her a freak? Then he would forever more be fluffball.

"I don't assume I am better then any other, I only warn those that disrespect me, that well," she looked at her paw, claws extending, "Sometimes I have a tendency to lose control...and thats not a very good thing when you cross me..."

She side stepped a bit, so he could probably land without hurting himself.

This was humorous.

Rune scowled as she sidestepped, giving him a nice faceplant into the ground. It wasn't a hard fall, but it was enough to damage his ego.

"FINE. You can be FREAK, then. Fair trade, I'd wager," he snickered, scrambling to all fours before giving a good shake to his fur, although still not ridding it of all the dust.

"Right. And I disrespect those who disrespect me. Get it?" He added, his gaze once again falling to the female. "Psh. Whatever. You're not worth my time, trespasser." He grumbled, quickly beginning to trot off, his limp causing that clear shuffling sound against the ground. Rediculous.

Rage frowned, she was a freak? Why was she always a freak or a monster? She couldn't help that she couldn't keep control of herself, she couldn't help that the darker side of her enjoyed enraging others. Meh, she couldn't help with anything she supposed.

But how to get out of here?

So Rage now with the beast inside of her dormant again, trotted off in a new direction...ironically, the one Runai was traveling. She wasn't sure what way was the way out, and she didn't even know Runai was going this way too, when the darker half of her took over, she didn't know the placement of things.

Rune heard the familiar steps of someone behind, trailing his own path while he moved along. Eh? He took a glance over his shoulder while he hobbled along.

"Why the hell're you following me? I thought I told you to get out?" He grumped, shaking his head. Although.. he /did/ tell her to leave.. which was the direction he was headed in. Although not really. He had other things to take care of before he left to find his stupid mother. Like finding Mafa.

"You did?" Rage asked, voice softer, not as aggressive as her darker half's voice. When had he said that? The only thing she could remember was seeing him, then, he was gone. Perhaps he was a god in disguise, and could...move really really fast. "I don't remember that I'm sorry..." her ears flattened back. She had just gotten here and already she was told to leave!

Which way was out though?

"Which way is out Mr...." she didn't continue, since she didn't really know his name.
