April 12th, 2007.
I want this to be true, honestly, I do.. But there's been no mention of the game having an English option. This also accompanies the fact that there has been no real announcement of GS III, short of the TGS video, showing Ace Attourney, Justice for All, and GSIII.
Your thoughts?

I heard that GS 4 won't have an English option, period. http://www.court-records.net/news.htmMaybe they're planning a separate release for overseas? A slightly different version over here? I think they might actually be waiting to see how JFA does over here, before they start bringing GS 3 over...maybe they'll release GS 3 along with 4 overseas? What if *GASP* they combine the two in one game??? Well, okay, I doubt they'd do that, but it'd be nice if GS 3 released over here sometime soon....

Why would they even consider that, when both AA and JFA had an English option? MADNESS, I SAY.

If GSIV doesn't have the dual language thingy, it would succeed in killing import sales. Except for those collectophiles among us who want the encyclopedia.
Anywho, I think one of those guys from Capcom USA said something about wanting to localize GS3 before even touching the fourth.
If so, I hope it's released at the same time EVERYWHERE.

I wish they'd release GS 4 over here with a translated encyclopedia! sweatdrop It would make more sense if they did do that, though.

I think I've seen something that Capcom has a Localization team built to localize the Ace Attorney 4 for the U.S. And I'm pretty sure that Capcom has already created a Localization team for Ace Attorney 3. In three months during the dumbed down E3, we will see something about Ace Attorney 3 and will be available either Holiday 2007, or Q3 2007. Then we'll see reports for AA4 in E3 2008. so we must be patient.
I just hope they make a collectors edition for AA4, with like a soundtrack or a little Odoroki chibi figurine 3nodding

To confirm it, Gyakuten Saiban 4 is not going to be released in English. It will be solely Japanese just like the first releases of the first three games. CAPCOM of America is currently focusing on GS3 (which still is unconfirmed) as well as a selection of merchandise. They have sent out a representative to both Court Records and the official Phoenix Wright forums to find out what fans want.

GS4 is supposed to be released on Q1 of 2008. IGN.com has it posted on the Release Dates for DS titles. I read up on GS4 on Wikipedia. I read the first case will tie up the time distance from GS3 to GS4. In all honesty, I am looking forward to its release. I had just finished GS3 and I truly loved the game. I felt a little sad at the end, but I can say that everything made sense. XD

In Ohio, the release date was set for "January 31, 2008". However, if it'll actually be released and sold, that's not confirmed. I've reserved it, so the GS4/AJ:AA game will be released in the U.S. in English. Yey! : D
