My personal recommendation is to have even more subforums. Put anything that doesn't have a post in it withing the past week into an archeives or General Discussion forum. And consolidate all your stickies and Announcements. Although this will not directly bring in members, it gives the guild a more professional look that's easier to read, which can have an impact on people's lasting decision.

If you do go through with your RP idea (which seems a tad out of place) then that should go in its own Subforum. If you set it up, make sure you put in some rules or limitations, at least in the beginning, so that the RPs can get a started with a goal. 'Cause no goal, no growth.

Finally, have some one put up at least one new thoughtful topic per week. New ideas have to constantly happen, and that is a way to guarentee that it doesn't stay dull for too long a period of time.

Ok, i've taken note of the sugesstions listed here. As some of you may have noticed, we now have an Archives subforum, where one time topics that aren't likely to come up again are placed. (I'm still working on that, by the way.)

And yes, advertizing in the guild section of the forums probably would help, along with a link to the guild so they can see for themselves what we're doing here. I'm not sure about the essay idea, essays bore me, and I suspect that this goes for a lot of other Gaians too. Maybe an upbeat banner, like my sig, would be better. But before we do that, I'd like to finish the Archives, so we make a good first impression on any new members. 3nodding
