personally my favorite metal sub-genres are:
metalcore-even though people trash it for being to soft its awsome hype upi music
melodic death metal-the gothemburg sound owns
and other stuff thats on m'Ipod im to lazy to type xd

I perfer Power and Progressive out of them all, with Folk and Heavy behind it.
