Snapping at a low flying bird Nelos lept over a log and grinned joyously while staying in pursuit. Someday she'd be a splendid hunter. But for now, for today, she didn't need to practice with any particular vigor or bloodlust. It was simply a nice day, with wonderfully fluffy snow.
Tail swerving enthusiastically around behind her the adolescent lept for the bird as it dove into a dieing bush.
Yelping in surprise the orange and brown female untangled herself carefully and shook a few sticks loose from her fur. The bird was safe in it's nest and peeped angrily at her, but she just shrugged and laughed.
Life was too much fun to spend very much time upset.

Malik padded along through the snow, breathed deep, and sighed, a white puff of air coming from his maw. A smile on his face today, lately he ahd been lonely, for some reason with the snow, it made him feel right at home, like when he used to be by the valley...yes, old times, but this was his home. He loved it, all who stayed here. Yes, he loved his pack, he wanted so much to be in Phib's eyes as a great pack member.
He wanted someone to be proud of him.
Trudging through the snow he smiled, tail swaying back and forth rhtymically, though something orange caught his eye. Was it Logan? No, there was brown to? Was it his daughter? He clenched his eyes shut, why couldn't he remember her name? He shrugged, perhaps he could just reacquaint himself with her, might be fun. Perhaps they could get to know each other better.
Most of his friend had gone off with their new found mate lately. It would be nice to have a friend to spend time with.

With a sneeze the adolescent shook her fur. Small bits of snow had begun to collect in it due to the fall of snow flakes a short time ago.
She liked snow. It was so pretty, the only downside to it was how cold it was. It didn't bother her today though. Her coat kept her nice and warm. It was quite a good thing to have.
Giving up on the bird she looked around for something new to chase. Catching scent of another wolf she crouched low. Nelos was in too good a mood to give up on things now.
Creepingly quietly foreward the youth sprang at a black shape much larger than herself with a triumphant cry.

Malik's red eyes widened when he watched as she sprung at him, making a rather strange noise, and he felt himself falling backwards. Well he wasn't expecting that...he fell back into the snow, it was on his nose and made him sneeze, and he peered up at her, his tail wagging somewhat. He hadn't expected that, but it was rather fun, "Hello...I haven't seen you in some time, look how big you've grown."
He was still smiling and he rolled over to sit up, his black fur was now covered with some of the white powder, but he paid it now mind, "Having fun in the snow? Just out for a day of play today?"
Then he remembered that she might not know who he was, "I'm Malik."
