As you may have noticed, I'm a big fan of many Hinata pairings that I think can become 'canon'. I'm a hardcore NejiHina fan, I really love KibaHina, I think Sai and Hinata need interraction, and the same with Sasuke and Hinata! So why am I making the Kiba x Hinata thread, out of all the pairings I could chose from...? Well, partially because I already made the SaiHina and NejiHina threads, and this IS the SasuHina guild but also...Because I really respect and like this pairing. You'll find the reasons down below. <3

NaruHina VS. KibaHina ~ Crush VS. Crush
If you've been paying close attention to Naruto, you'll probably have noticed that Hinata has a crush on Naruto, and Kiba has a crush on Hinata. Kiba's crush is more subtle and less noticable than Hinata's crush for Naruto, but it's still there, and at times he has gotten jealous of Naruto.
Hinata's oblivious to Kiba's crush. Naruto's oblivious to Hinata's crush.
Naruto's too obsessed with Sakura to really notice Hinata, and Hinata's too preoccupied with Naruto to notice Kiba! So, who really would win?
Kiba's crush isn't as big as Hinata, but he DOES love her, at least as a brother. He takes care of her, and is the kind of guy who'd scold her when she makes a stupid mistake. Now, if Hinata was a bit less oblivious...
If Hinata ever accepts Kiba's crush, or if Kiba ever makes it more obvious, I think she'd realize just how much like Naruto Kiba is. Personality wise, Kiba's a loudmouth, but he still cares deeply for my friends. Both Naruto and Kiba make good leaders, and are over determined.
And both of them care deeply for Hinata as a sister. But, who will win Hinata's affections - if it's even one of them!? XD We'll just have to wait and see what Kishimoto decides to do.

Compatibility
Alright, so this is one of those 'Opposites Attract' pairings. Kiba's a loud-mouth, Hinata's quiet. Kiba's quite rude, and Hinata's quite polite. Yet, they are alike.
Both of them are determined. Both of them have respect for their leaders. Both of them are strong-willed. I really do dislike pairings where the two characters are exact opposites (such as SasuSaku), because I think it totally ruins everything for the pair.
Kiba can be quiet, as well. He can be calm, and has matured since his fight with Naruto, when we first see how loud and annoying he really is. Hinata and Kiba are both caring people, as well. So, at least we know their compatible, in a sense.
Kiba's also the kind of guy who would comfort Hinata when she needs it. I've seen that in a lot of fanworks - Kiba's always comforting Hinata in a brotherly way, whether making a face to stop her from crying, or touching her hair with a smile.
He worries about her, and she worries about him. Really, I don't think either of them notice how important the other one is to them.

He Does Care ~ Maybe More Than you Thought
Through the beginning of the series and through the fillers, even, you'll notice Kiba really, truly cares deeply about Hinata. You see him always worrying over her, watching her, sighing when she makes mistakes, getting angry when she goes against Neji, being shocked to see how strong she wants to be. These are all aspects that only Kiba has for her - this worrying, this deep care for her. I think it could possibly bloom into more. I've noticed that Hinata is a girl that could easily be fallen for.
She's sweet, she's caring, she's loving, and she worries. I can seriously see Kiba, Sasuke, Sai and/or Neji all falling for her due to these aspects. They're the kinds of traits that only Hinata has, they make her special, they make her different. This is what makes me really like a lot of Hinata pairings, and be able to think they have a chance of being canon.
Going on....There are also times when Kiba does get jealous of Naruto, in a sense. I think fighting him gave Kiba more RESPECT for Naruto, but he still dislikes the fact that Hinata pinns for him, and sometimes he just gets annoyed! (This is mostly in the fillers)
During the KibaHinaNaruShino fillers, Kiba once pulls Naruto away from Hinata, a scowl on his face. Obvious jealously - now, I know these are fillers, but yes, the anime producers do know a lot of what Kishimoto wants to happen in the series - they've been hinting way too many different pairs though, as of now....-.-

KibaHina, hm? Well... I like it more than NaruHina. And since I do respect NaruHina, and I'm basically neutral on it, I'd say I'm an all right fan of KibaHina. It is cute, and does make sense, I admit. The fanart is adorable, too. Kiba definitely cares about Hinata-- very, very much. I think this could work, and I wouldn't mind so much if it happened. I'd prefer SasuHina, but KibaHina is a nice alternative, makes some sense, and I've heard is a possibility. Go on ahead and place me as a fan. And great job on this thread as well!! ^_^ ^_^
