My mother and grandmother each own half of our house. Until a while ago, we all lived in it. Then grandmother went ******** crazy and decided that selling the house would somehow give her the money to do the things she wants to do, nevermind that the way the market is right now selling this very nice, large house will mean living in a freaking dog box, and nevermind the fact that every financial venture she's ever made has backfired on her. The three of us (Mama, big bro and me) weren't very happy with this, but since she owns half of it we have to sell. There were lots of fights, and grandmother ran off to my aunts place... taking the car that is also half-owned. Basically, she legally stole our only means of transport and there's nothing we can do, which sucked big time. We've since managed to get a really sucky car of our own. Anyway, after various legal battles she made us go to even though we had already agreed to sell because we didn't want the cost of legal battles, the house got put on the market.

Recently, we got serious interest from a buyer. This afternoon, a contract was signed. Now we've got to go looking around for the best dog box we can afford in this area. We can't move very far away because of my karate, but real estate around the towns here is expensive. For the amount of money we're going to end up with, it's damn near impossible to get something with more than two bedrooms. There are three of us. If our luck holds out, we'll managed to get near the ******** microwave tower. Because of the location you can get nicer houses cheaper there normally.
We knew that no matter when it happened, we'd be bad off. But the timing really sucks, because my school year just started. I'm still sorting out all the problems and hitches with the courses and teachers and materials, and soon I'll have a bunch of other hitches to work out with the change of address. I do distance education, by post and by phone. The school is normally disorganized at best, a change of address and number will be such a hassle... damn it all.

So, this is basically an explanation of why I'll be even more stressed and emotional (as in sever mood swings) than I have been lately.
