Durem Courthouse In Durem, local trial courts conduct their business in a centrally located courthouse, which may also house county government offices. In some cases, this building often has its function divided as between a judicial building and an administrative office building. Many judges also officiate at civil marriage ceremonies in their courthouse chambers.

Spitting to the side, he stepped out of the courthouse. He tipped the brim of his cowboy hat, looking to the northwest through the corners of his eyes. Resting his hand on a desert eagle holstered at his side--one of two--he muttered under his breath, "It's time, is it?"

"Right you are," the cowboy said, unholestering the desert eagles. He started west, towards Durem Downtown, spurs jingling all the way.

There are some things which never cease to bother you. When you're in a hurry, you always wish you could drive faster, that there was no traffic; but there is. Other times, you think there's no cop nearby and you can pull a little stunt or push the gas a little, and guess what; there is.
Tickets were a big waste of time, but there were some things you were just supposed to do. Everything settled, Kalis marched down the steps from the Courthouse, hands tucked in his pockets, with a sigh. His bike was out front, and he was itching to go again already.
Unfortunately, there was more than one officer nearby.
He climbed on and started checking things and setting it to go patiently, trying to ignore hard stares from some of the more dutiful officers as to his lack of a helmet.

Keys- in.
Engine- on.
Goggles- on.
All systems- go.
Kalis pretended his engine was roaring while he pulled Northeast toward the Main Gates, keeping the engine keyed down until he cleared sight of the officers.
Because getting a speeding ticket twice in one day would not make you happy.
