 A lone lioness stalked around the thick grasslands, her tail tucked between her hindlegs. Ever since she had lost the little male leopard some time ago, she had been wandering around, trying to find her own path in life. She just happened to stumble upon it not too long ago. Word of a pack up North caught her interest. 'Maybe I can join this pack and find a good position within it that can be useful to the other lions and lionesses.' The only problem is that she didn't know what she was useful in.
Sighing, Panya flicked her dark ears, wondering how far away she would have to travel to get to the new packlands. Glancing up over the tall grass, she could see that being able to see other lions and predators was going to be a problem. Pinning her ears back, she blinked a few times before jumping into the air, her forelegs and hindlegs tucked gracefully underneath her body, as she scanned the area briefly before her body gracefully fell back down to the ground. Extending her forepaws, she landed on them with a quiet thud and carefully let her hindlegs land on the ground, barely making any noise at all. "I wonder where everyone is. It is too quiet for it to be empty at this time of the day." She glanced up at the sky to see that it was barely high in the sky.
Sighing, she started to move on when she heard a russle of something in the grass. Stiffening her posture, she pricked her ears up and gazed around the area with alert golden-hued eyes. "Who's there?" she asked out-loud, not realizing the danger she might have put herself in by telling whoever was out there her position in the tall grass.

The body of a large lion stepped out of the grass with a smirk. Interesting that she sensed him just then, he thought he was well hidden. Lately, since he had left Mwana, he had been feeling a lot better about himself. First was Kumbuko and that just made him feel like he had someone to protect. Was that how Trig felt everyday when he helped someone? It struck him strange and pushed it aside. He looked upon the female that looked closely to....her....he shook his head, no she was gone from him now so why does he remember again?
His body was large just as was traditional in the Firekin Pride. His green eyes fell on her form, young and strong. He narrowed when his eyes contacted with her, a smirk on his maw still.
"Sharp aren't you. I see you have spotted me, then again I am quite large so these grass don't do all that well. What is your name..."
He asked, a low growl forming down in his throat. It was a warning that he would attack her at any moment. She best stay on his good side.

Panya heard the warning growl and she narrowed her golden-hued eyes dangerously thin. She hated to be growled at, even by other females. She flicked her tail back and forth, contemplating on whether or not to tell him her name. "It was quite easy, despite your large body. Your scent gave you away. Next time, try to walk downwind of someone you think might be a threat to you." She let the fur on her spine stand up slightly a she gazed upon the large lion in front of her.
It wasn't his size that made her weary of him, it was the scar on his muzzle. It looked like an old scar from when he was younger. She would never get in any fights that she knew she would get scars from. Thumping her tail on the ground, she gazed around the area before turning her gaze back towards the lion. "I'll tell you my name if you tell me yours," she said in a low whisper. She wanted to get towards the pack she had heard about-was it a Wild Dog pack or a Hyena one? She didn't remember which one it was, but she knew that one of the two species was looking for lions to help them out.

Trigger's growl indicating that the possibility of an attack grew more likely. He had a lifetime of orders, commands, and harsh tones. It just ticked him off. He narrowed at her. He saw no harm from her, she didn't seem like she could touch him.
"Moto'Vianzio."
He spoke before his body moved around her, muscles ripping under his short fur. His emerald eyes dulled from a lifetime of tears that were now empty to him. Trigger's growl grew louder. The scars on his muzzle wrinkled when he did to a bit of a snarl. Those scars were given to him by his father, his last attempt to take his life before his ended. That monster deserved what he got but the scar is something he will have to take everywhere and a constant reminder. He is a Firekin.
"You weren't a threat to me, female. I highly doubt you pose any to me." With a scoff he sat himself down again before her. "So what are you doing way out here?"

Panya's fur on her tail bristled slightly as the growl grew louder and angrier. She crouched down slightly, indicating that she wished to not fight him. She was weaker than he was and she knew it. Hearing a name being spoken, she canted her head slightly, wondering if that was his name he has spoke. "Panya," she said in a low whisper, watching the lion walk around her.
she crouched down lower to the ground, her tail curling around one of her hindlegs. what have she gotten herself into this time? She closed her eyes for a few moments before hearing Trigger's voice. She opened one eye slowly and saw him sit down on the ground. She pricked an ear forward as she listened to his question carefully. "I heard that there was this Hyena pack that was looking for lions to protect their young. I wasn't thinking of joining them, but just going over there to look to see if it was a good idea." She didn't dare ask him why he was out. "Now I don't think that it was a good idea."

The firekin sighed and turned his head.
"Panya, huh? I just find it strange for lions to socialize with hyenas being rivals, then again I have surprised myself as well with something like that. You can do whatever you want, but just get out of my sight. But good luck with that stupid idea of yours."
He rolled his eyes and got to his feet.
"If you don't get into that pack or pride or whatever you call it, good luck finding some other place for yourself to live at."
With that, Trigger got to his feet and stalked back into the tall grass. He had better things to take care of. But that female....actually stood up to him. That was interesting, but his attention was elsewhere.

Panya's ear flicked as she heard the lion's words. Had she said something wrong? She watched him leave for a few seconds before she started to pursue him. Something had sparked an interest within her to follow him. She didn't know what, but something was gnawing in the back of her mind, telling her that he knew something that she didn't know.
"Well, then, if you think that hyenas aren't good to socialize with, then what do you think I should socialize with? Other lions?" She canted her head to one side, still following her. "What of you? Have you a place to call home?"
Knowing she might not get an answer, she stopped in her tracks and watched the lion get further and further away from her. You think you've seen the last of me? I think not. I will find a way to earn your trust.
