I say manga because it goes more in depth into their lives after the anime ends, but that doesnt stop my from spending 150$ on the paper boxes.
I noticed that too. I only seen the tv series and the first three manga volumes, but I realized (from making the character list) that there's a good bit more. I wonder why they didn't animate the rest? Lack of funds?

I think that the manga was better overall because they didn't skip over the Yukishiro's and it was more detailed.
Yeah from what I've read I think the manga is more detailed too. The anime(at one point especially) focused way too much in the fighting aspect of the series. At one point I thought I was watching a DBZ ripoff xd
