Well, as far as I know, Monkey Punch never really gave them ages. Alot of people seem to think he's mid-late 30's, and I thought that was too old..
Well, share your ideas/opinions on their ages.

Lupin: 23~33 (He seems too young in some things which is why I can say 20's, but early thirties would work)
Fujiko: Maybe a year younger then Lupin?
Goemon: Actually, this is a hard one. Nani&Twonk brought up a good point, he acted quite young in the comic, which I didn't really think about since he's hardly in it. In the animations though, he doesn't. So.. Hmm..
Jigen: Alot of people seem to think he should be older. I'd say 26~34 compared to Lupin.
Zenigata: Early~mid 40's. He's still got some youth, and I think any older he'd probably be too close to retirement.

I agree with you on Zenigata and Fujiko. How I see their ages:

Lupin: Late 20's, early 30's
Fujiko: Mid-20's
Goemon: Because of the manga, which Goemon looks like he's 15, I always have him being the youngest and in his early 20's
Jigen: Early 30's, maybe a few years older than Lupin
Zenigata: Early to mid 40's

I don't see Lupin being older than 35. It's kind of hard to see that. Although 35 isn't really old, it's old for Lupin.

Interesting topic, especially since Lupin and Co. are pretty 'ageless'.
I always tend to think of the gang as a group of people who never act their own age, nor are they forced to show them. Young is the default way to veiw them, though.

Lupin: Oddly enough, I always date Lupin and gang younger in the manga.
They just seem to act younger, but, rounding everything, I would say late 20s/early 30s. The reason being is that Lupin can occasionally be rash, but on the whole he must have been stealing for quite awhile to get as good as he is.

Jigen: I've always though as Jigen being the same age, but very much more reserved. I could put him as being 2 years older, but I think it's his nature to be calmer than ol' monkey man.

Goemon: I always think he's 16 or something in the Manga. He has such a young face! xd
He's magically become Lupin and Jigen's age in the anime. It's one of his secret samurai techniques.

Fujiko: It's really hard to gauge Fujiko. Saying "30s" sounds too old, but she seems too wiley and sneaky to be early 20s. So, probably the middle, though I would say she's very cynical of men to be very young.

Zenigata: Probably the only person I can age past 30. Early 40s seems about right. FUNimation says he's 50, but that seems to be really pushing it. 40 is old enough to be 'Pops', but young enough to chase people while waving arms madly about, at the same time yelling, and have gone over the deep end with an almost scary passion for a goal.

Yeah, Goemon seemed like a kid in the manga. They all seemed younger. I also figured Jigen would be about the same age, but alot of people seem to think he should be older, so yeah. Late-20's Early 30's is better then mid-late 30's at least, it just seemed too old for me, since he's kind of a young punk type.

Lupin: Early thirdies. I could see late twenties too, but I guess he does so much, I think of him as older then twenty, even if it's not much.
Jigen: A few years older then Lupin, just 'cause he has more sense.
Goemon: Umm...I dunno...He's the ageless samurai. Second series, he looks like he's between Lupin and Jigen's age.
Fujiko: I imagine her to be the youngest.
Zenigata: He's mid-thirdies. He looks forty, but all those sleepless nights, falls, yelling, and waving about...

Yeah, but I don't think that would really work between Zenigata-Lupin. If Lupin's early thirties, and Zenigata's mid-thirties, could he really call him pops?

The entire Lupin gang is in their late thirties (maybe in their early thirties/late twenties in the first series). Zenigata is in his fifties or thereabouts. I don't think 30-something is old. My husband is in his early thirties, and he still hangs out in the same places and does the same things that 20 year-olds do. I have to stress that Fujiko is definitely not in her 20s, she's an experienced and older woman. In Japan, women in their thirties are not considered as undesirable as they are here in the West.

Put it this way, James Bond is definitely at least in his thirties, and he's a sex magnet.

Well I don't think that could work, because in the 60's&70's, retirement age was alot earlier. He'd be retired or too close to retirement in his 50's or even late 40's.

As for the gang, Lupin's been thieving his whole life. Geomon's been training his whole life. You can only imagine Fujiko just got bored with school and started seducing the teachers for grades etc. and started from there(Also, from what I've heard, she's based off Playboy models, and they aren't in their 30's, and a woman can be a woman and experienced ect. without being in their 30's). And Jigen's just a perfect shot period.

Well, that's just guesses though.

I've alway seemed to see the ages as a little higher for some reason...if you watch any of the movies, it seems they give Jigen a slightly older look with the sunken in cheeks and all. Nothing against him, I still love him and all...but for some reason I've always seen in many sites that they like to make Zenigata around 50...

but then, that's just what I've seen since I tend to do -a lot- of research. Heh...

~Shinji T.

PS...I still could be wrong...nothing seems to be a definite thing in this show...

Have you noticed how Lupin, Goemon, Jigen never seem to age but everyone else one seems to age perfectly fine? Especially the girls. Like Jigen will meet a girl as child and then they meet again and she look the same age as Goemon. But Jigen will look exactly the same.

When looking at age you have to look at what part of the Lupin series we're talking about. The first episode of season 1 I'll agree that Lupin maybe in his 20's. But in one of the movies, Voyage to Danger, Jigen say that Zenigata has been chasing them for 20 years. So in that movie Lupin has to be at least 30. And in Castle of Cagliostro Lupin says he tried to get into the castle 10 years earlier. So I'd say through out the series Lupin is in his early 20's to mid or late 30's. I see Jigen being slight older than Lupin, by about 5 or 6 years, Goemon about the same age as Lupin, Fujiko I think is older than Lupin by maybe a year or two, and Zenigata I see as being in his 40's and 50's throught out the series.

Well, I don't really like when they try to age them too much.
I suppose I'm mainly talking about the comic and series 2, but looking for general opinions.
