Kajji padded silently into his lands, his rump bouncing slightly as a tune played in his head. He turned his head over his back to gaze at the one that followed. Poza. His mate. He stopped his walking so that they were side by side. Meeting Asi, the last step in Kajji's plan for ultimate love. His gold and silver eyes twinkled as he went, his tail up over his back. Oh the joy.
He looked to Poza. "Asi is a wonderful Lion. He is a father too. " He said, with a smile, his voice flat as ever. Oh the joy he felt. He softly head butted her shoulder. "I love you my dear." He said, affectionately licking her cheek.

Poza grinned and nuzzled into her large lion companion, tail flicking, then straightening out as she walked beside him. "He will be the second lion I'll ever meet." She said, grinning. She was quite happy with her first meeting of a lion, and she hoped that she would like Asi. "Does he have lots of children?" Poza wanted to have children, with Kajji! But she wouldn't mention this to him yet.
Asi was at the dens, like usual. He was sitting and watching the sky, he was in a better mood than usual. With Ari's death he'd been rather depressed, but he was slowly trying to come out of it.

Kajji smiled at his mate " Alas I'm not sure about how many children he has, since I've been away." Nuzzling against Poza lovingly, he began to move towrards Asi's den. Hoping to find the king there. Spotting the mighty lion, Kajji called out. "Asi" Announcing his presence to the king.

Asi blinked as he glanced over, raising a brow. He hadn't seen Kajji in a long time. And what was this, why did he have a cheetah with him? His tail flicked and he nodded his head in greeting. "Lo thurr Kajji, 'oo be yer friend?" He said slowly, gaze foccusing on what he thought was a female. She didn't seem big enough to be an adult yet, but he wasn't really sure about cheetahs.
Poza was going to say more but then they'd reached his king. She stayed a little behing Kajji for a moment, and then realized there was nothing to be shy about. So she moved forward and bowed, hoping that was correct. "My name is Poza!" She said cheerfully, smiling at the stranger.

"This is my mate, Poza as she's already told you" Kajji grinned at that, glad that Poza wasn't afraid of the king. " Tell me Asi how are you?" He had heard rumor's of a death on the winds and wanted to know how his king was doing. Settling down on his hunches, he hoped that the king would share that with him.

Asi blinked and his brows raised. This was Kajji's mate? He sighed and laughed slightly to himself, he guessed love was found in odd places these days. "I be... alr'igh. Tamu be takin' o'er the kingship... ari be... well she be passed on." He said slowly. "Where 'ave yeh been, 'aven't seen yeh in ages."
Poza sat and grinned, she liked very much whenever kajji called her his mate, she liked hearing those words from his mouth. She stayed quiet, listening respectably.

Kajji's smile faltered as he heard what the king had to say. "My greatest sympathy Asi, I have been off traveling. Seeing the other lands around ours." Nuzzling against his mate, Kajji wrapped his tail lightly around her.

Poza frowned, trying to make sense of the other's words as much as she could. He spoke much differently than Kajji did! "Oh!" She said in sudden realization, and sadness swept over her face. "I am sorry to hear that too." She purred out, snuggling harder against Kajji. Could she even imagine her own, new mate dying?
He shook his head lightly and sighed. "Aye, thank yeh. Both." He murmered, watching them and then looking away. "Other lands, eh? Find annee thin' interestin'?"

Nuzzling his mate back, Kajji couldn't help his next words. " It depends on what you call interesting, Poza here is interesting" Glancing over at his mate, Kajji grinned wider. Oh how he loved her, the way her eyes sparkled when she grinned.

"Hey!" She said, taking that as teasing. She nipped his ear lightly. "Maybe you two are the interesting ones to me!" She said with a playful grin.
Asi just smiled as he watched on for a moment. "Aye... d'yeh think yeh two will be stayin' in the lands or 'splorin' more?" His head tilted slightly.

Mock glaring at his mate, Kajji reached up to rub his ear lightly. "I'm not sure Asi. We may stay here for a while or strike out to find our own place. With your permission of course" Kajji felt bad, he had never gotten the kings permission to travel before he left.

Asi nodded slowly. "Aye, aye. Wha'e'r yeh choose be fine with meh." Though it would have been nice to have nonfamily members sticking around he wasn't about to tie Kajji to these lands. When he found someplace comfortable that he wanted to stay in then he should stay there.
"So yeh should show Poza around or sommat, I be needin' teh patrol." He nodded his head to both of them and stood, moving off.

"Alright, I'll talk to you later Asi. Have fun patrolling" Kajji called after the king, before turning his attention to his mate. Nuzzling against her lovingly, he pulled away slightly to watch her face. "So my dear what do you think of my home?"

Poza smiled. "It's beautiful... much different than the southland plains. Do you have nice napping areas?" Her tail flicked away from her body.
