Saichen had an idea.
A very odd idea.
One that she could accredit to any number of sources...
yet she chose to accredit it to her friends in the Fortunately/Unfortunatly thread.

So here we go:

Stories tend to evolve as the writers change. people have different perspectives and different methods of communicating the same ideas.

And one thing we all have in common: a love of Ian.
why not write a multi-perspective story based around a single idea?

First, we settle on a storyline, then write from our gaian's perspective and how WE saw the goings on.

The storyline: Ian's Trial.
Write a scene or two from where your character was, what they were doing, how they were affected, and who else they saw. That's right. I want our writers to interact with each other. Characters can talk to each other, interact, and such. We have some very talented writers in this guild and i want to see it biggrin

"Ian got arrested. His trial is coming up!"

"Eh, good riddance. Even a monkey can run his shop."
"Shh, there's that wierd bar and grill that's dedicated to him..."

Saichen blinked as she looked out the window, mindlessly polishing a glass behind the bar. They were all looking at the bar suspiciously now. Ever since he was arrested. She sighed and stared at the glass in her hand.
"You better be careful, you've been polishing that smae glass for a good 20 minutes now. You might wear a hole in it."
Bob sat down in front of her, across the bar, folding his arms on the wooden surface. He smiled thoughtfully, looking up at Saichen as she set the glass down.
"Sorry, Bob... I just can't concentrate since..." He voice trailed off but Bob knew exactly what she was tlaking about. The bar had been earily quiet ever since it happened. Hardly any visitors, even some of the regulars had avoided the place like it was infected with the plague or something. Sai picked up the next glass and began to polish it. Anything to keep ehr hands busy, to feel like she was getting something accomplished.
Bob reached over the bar and slid open the cooler, grabbing two Smirnoffs. He shut the cloorer and then sat back down, twisted off the caps and pushed one to Saichen. Strawberry, her favorite.
"You need to chill out, Sai. You're not gonna cheer up just polishing glasses. Here, on me."
"I'm on the clock."
"It's my bar. Drink." He took a decisive swig to show her what to do. She set her glass down and drank from the bottle.
"Bob, what're we gonna do?"
"We'll figure it out, Sai. Just don't worry your head over it. We know he's innocent. The evidence will show that as well. He'll be fine."
"Yeah, but what if he's not?"
"I hear teh LAA's got some openings."
"Bob!"
"Kidding."

of course you can. this is jsut a fanfiction, but you can still say you were involved with the bar and grill if you like. back then, the bar and grill was called Ian's Harem. feel free to take liberties biggrin

((Yay Fun! Must think on something to write... And Rina/rino/whatever NO worries... at that time I was just returning from a LONG haiatus from Gaia and was suddenly like "why is Ian not in his shop?" Ian was one thing I remembered quite well from before my haiatus.))

Elantis walked into the housing section of town, lost in thought, trying to remember where he own house was when she ran into Sorrowsong sitting morosely on a bench.

Elantis waved as she approached her friend. "Whats eating you?" she asked.

Sorrow looked up and shrugged. "I just can't believe it," she said crypticly assuming Elantis knew what she was talking about.

"Can't believe what? And maybe you can tell me why Ian isn't in his shop where he SHOULD be," Elantis asked confusion coloring her voice.

"Thats just it! Ian's been arrested for burning down the Gambino Mansion, didn't you know?" Sorrow snapped as if it were obvious.

"I've been gone for... a while," Elantis admitted. "Alot has changed around here since before I left. But I distinctly remember that IAN should be running the Botique."

Sorrow apologized for snapping and pointed in another direction. "If you go that way you'll find a Bar and Grill run by a guy named Bob Dobbs, its kind of a Ian Fanclub/Herem thing. They could tell you more about it... I'm still in shock about it all."

"Why don't you come with me... I'll buy you a drink, you look like you could use it," Elantis offered.

Sorrow nodded and the two walked toward the Bar and Grill, one in search of answers, one in search of a way to forget.
