Hello. Well, I know this is going to be a useless thread that will die quickly and will just take up space. But it's a question I can't find the answer to!
In Betrayel, as Kenshin is about to fight the man who planned his assassination (I apologize, but his name escapes me. He has long gray hair and fought w/o a sword if that helps) Kenshin yells for Tomoe "We'll make it to Otsu!!!" or some variation like that twice.
I researched Otsu and found it was the capital of the Shiga prefecture, but that still doesn't answer my quesion.
What's the significance of Otsu? Is it even the city?

The assassin's name was Tatsumi.
Otsu was the small farming village where Kenshin and Tomoe stayed in hiding after the Ikedaya massacre.

Thank you very, very much. heart That clears alot of things up, especially with helping to further understand how Kenshin felt at that time.
... -sigh- And now this thread shall die I suppose...
