My friend is lending me a bunch of stuff until I have enough to get my new dream avi (see siggy).
I'm going for a black and pink look so I can mix and match with the blue and brown.
The avi after that has been decided to be brown and white so I have some more brown items to match my hair whee
I kept all the stuff from my last dream avi (and bought my arrow hat <3), but my friend still lent me a bunch of stuff...no reason why. Just did.
I'm so happy, my avi is so blue now O_o
I'm really excited for my pink and black avi too. ninja

Nice avi. I dont trust my friends with my things, their all greedyer than I am. Like my black head band thingy I STILL havent gotten back which I lent out last year.
I'm glad your working towards something. I should come up with a new dream avi but.. I havent had time too.... hmm.. well maybe I'll request it in th avi forum, I wanna start questing again but I dont know what I want x.x;

I'm too paranoid to lend out.. or borrow items from others. Sometimes I'll swap items with siblings. But when my items are on their account, I miss them. And when their items are on my account... I get really paranoid about being hacked. So... I'd rather just not mess with it. x.x

A long time ago, I gave up on dream avatars and just buy items. And at this moment, I own most all of the items that I've ever wanted on Gaia. Besides the expensive ones, I'll just have to forget about those. XD;;
Mixing and matching colors sure is fun.

I have never seemed to have the talent for mixing and matching colors [like Cabbi can, but I try and make do with what I have.
A lot of times I'm very tempted to have someone just go through my inventory and make fun outfits for me, but I don't entirely trust giving someone a password to go do that.

Oh~~ it's not always good to have someone else dress you. I let my sister (a Gaian) dress my avatar sometimes. I sort of trained her on how to make avatars though, so she dresses like I do. And i must say that I like her style. ;D
I had my mom dress my avatar once... it was just... weird looking.
Oh~ and if you want someone to dress your avatar, you can always go to the avatar talk forum. You can make one of those dress me threads and post a screen shot of the items you own~
I wouldn't do that though~ you don't know how many people will want to try to hack your account for your items after they see what you have. x.x

i know its not always good, but sometimes it is interesting to just see how different people can make things out of a small amount of things.
i would only take a screenshot of my inventory for people i know on here that i would trust with it like you, KI, JC, etc.etc. and if i were to actually post it into a thread, i would probably edit out most of my really good/expensive items just for extra protection, although anyone who has paid attention to my avi knows i have [insert a lovely number here] of MC's around..

Haha I'm not certain if I'm greedy over gaia or not yet. We'll see how it goes when I actually have "rich people" items xd sweatdrop
Well that's lame. I remember WAY back when I originally started this account, someone lent me a bunch of stuff so I could look like Edward Elric from FMA (back when the braids didn't exsist woahness o_o). Well I ket trying to contact the guy to give his stuff back when I got new items but he never responded. After a couple months I just sold the stuff and if he ever happened to contact me, I'd repurchase the items. sweatdrop

Ah~ yes, that's the safe way to go~ but not fun when people won't have all of your items to work with. I've been dying to make a dress up thread and post it with one of my other accounts... but I don't want to risk them getting hacked either. ^^;;

Tektek is indeed awesome. B] Were you around when we had the Gaia Avatar Creator (GAC) when that went down I was dying because I didn't have a pretty avatar maker to play with. Gavsim was too slow. I also had like... fifteen items at the very most, so I didn't have much to play with either. u.u;
And yes~ my mom. XD;; She was in the room, so I pulled her over... I think I saved what she made. I'll look through my pictures and edit it in here...
