Junior was walking along the beach, he had managed to get away from his crying mother for the time being. He didn't like the fact that she kept calling herself old, and him getting old for that matter. He looked up and down the long stretch of beach. There seemed to be only one other pae around, though he didn't know who it was, for they were beyond his sight. "Hello?" He called, knowing the pae was closer than she looked.

A soft pink pae'il female was simply languing around on the beach, odd markings in shades of glowing blue, purple, and green mark her chest and her upper arms. Covering most of her facial appearance was her rather long hair; what was shocking was the color of it - a bold dark red just like her father's.
From a distance, it would be looking like she was just standing there for no reason. However, her voice was softer than the lake's swells as she tries out her vocals in the soft pitches; unaware of the teen boy.

Junior shook his head, walking towards her. Even if she hadn't heard him he was determined to figure out who she was. The first thing he spotted when he was near her was her dark read hair. "Hello?" He asked again, trying not to think of his brother who also had just a bit on the tip of his hair aswell.

Ducky tried out one more soft harmony, then turned around to look at Junior. Giving a brave smile, she studied the teen. "Hi," she said in her soft melodic voice. "Haven't seen you around here before. You new?" she said as she gently tucked a loose hair strand behind her right ear and watched Junior curiously.

He studied her form, entranced by the way she looked. "Uh, yeah I am. I don't get out much." Junior looked up, he had been staring at her legs, though he still didn't understand why they had drawn his attention. "How about you?" He asked, thinking if he charmed her enough he might be able to touch the elegant legs that had caught his attention.

"Oh I live here.. my house is just right around the corner. We live in a tiki hut," Ducky said as she watched Junior. He was acting a bit strange in her view but she supposed all teen boys act that way. Twinin her legs around each other at her ankles, she looked at Junior and smiles brightly. She knew in fact that he was looking at her legs. She thanked the guardians for blessing her with long legs as she watched Junior and giggled softly.

"Hut? Sounds more comfortable than a tree." He said, enticed by her legs again. He was still rather confused as to why, but they did seem so very pretty. He noticed her giggled, and looked up. "I'm sorry. I haven't seen such a pretty thing... Like ever."

"I'm sure you say that to every other girl," Ducky admitted as she smiles at Junior. He still behaving a bit strange, but she thought it was pretty cute and not to mention, sweet of him to mention her being a pretty thing. "So how did you end up on this far side of the beach?" she asked as she simply walked up to Junior and twine her arms around her back, then watched the teenager boy.
"Have you ever went swimming?" Ducky asked Junior, only having maybe close to 6 inches of space between their adolescent bodies.

"No, I only really get to talk with my Aunts..." He said, now gazing into her eyes. "How? I live in a tree about a hundred feet back." Junior pointed his thumb over his shoulder randomly. "Sw-swiming?" He stuttered, using most of his energy at the moment to fight the odd feeling he had in the pit of his stomach. "Ye-yeah... Would you like to go?" he was obviously nervous now.

Ducky giggled softly as she simply just brush a strand of hair out of Junior's face and moved her arm back to her side. "I would love to go swimming," she said lightly as she pretty much skipped and stopped at the shoreline where the water is coming in. "It is a bit cold. Mind you test it for me?" she asked, bats her eyelashes shyly at Junior.

Junior jumped back a step when she brushed the hair out of his face. He followed her to the shoreline, though he managed to not skip the whole way there, since his stride was long enough now to keep up with her. "Only if you come in with me." Junior replied, putting a foot into the ebbing waves. "Or shall I carry you so you don't have to get wet untill I trip?"

Ducky smiles mischeviously as she took a few steps back behind Junior and just ran at him, then jumped onto his back. "Nope!" she shouted and laughed. "Bet you never had a girl jump on your back either."

Junior looked over his shoulder at Ducky, utterly shocked that she would jump on his back like that. "Well I did once, but we were both really little." He said, now enjoying the fact that she was on his back. He grabbed her legs so that she wouldn't fall, and started to walk forward. "It's not too cold, just right for this time of the year."

"Oh.. we never introduced each other. I'm Ducky," Ducky said to Junior as she laughed lightly as he walked into the flow of the cool lake water. "Don't ask why my mom named me that. I have utterly no idea," she confided in Junior and giggled lightly. "So what do you do for fun?" she asked curiously as she simply allowed the teen to touch her legs to wrap it around his waist.
