 Maverick walked through the plains on a hot day, rather relaxed. He had just left from the spring, taking a nice refreshing and cold break for water on his early morning run. The tall grass of the plains were swaying in the breeze and the soft sound of wind whistled past Maverick's ears, bringing a smile to his face. Today seemed very comfortable, it was going to be a good day.

Charlamagne happily trotted through the grass of the plain, kicking her hindlegs up every now and again. She would probably stop when someone saw her doing this, but she was enjoying this moment as she expended a burst of energy she had. Coming further into the plains, she noticed another horse not too far off in the distance. Slowing down, or at least having stopped her random bouts of kicking. With that, she slowly made her way to the other.

Maveirck smiled at a Soquili across the plain. He approached her shyly to get a better glimpse at her. The Soquili wasn't completely unnatural, other than a streak of unnatural colors in her hair. He took a step back, slightly uncomfortable. She seemed strange, a rare oddity. An unnatural Soquili, but didn't make Maverick feel all that uncomfortable. Maverick didn't say anything, he wasn't one to make the first move in a conversation. Instead, he smiled and then pretended to ignore her so he would avoid looking weird.

She noticed the stallion head toward her trotting a bit faster to him to meet him halfway. It was when he took a step back when she stopped and tilted her head slightly. Charlamagne gave him a curious look over, taking note of the stripes on him, never seeing that before. Though that didn't say much, she was still rather new. With a warm smile, she took a step to the male, despite the fact that he was seemingly ignoring her and greeted him. "Hello there."

"Hello," said Maverick, now turning to the mare with an awkwardly uncomfortable smile on his face. "I couldn't help but notice you. Are you new to these lands? I think I would have noticed you had you been here longer. I don't interact with many Soquili, but when there is one that stands out of the crowd, I'm sure to approach them."

Charlamagne's smile never left her face, though the uncomfortable smile he had on his face made her nervous. It made her wonder if she did anything wrong. She didn't think so, seeing on how she just got there... perhaps she greeted him wrong? She just shook the thought off as her tail flicks softly. "Yes, I'm new. Been here for a few days or more, still getting used to everything. I haven't met many others though."

"I've been here most of my life, I still don't know many others, but I am very familiar with these lands," said Maverick with a smile. "Have you come here alone? Do you have a place to stay? Do you want a tour of the land?"
Maverick paused, realizing he was bombarding her with small-talk questions, but he couldn't help himself, he was full of curiousity about this mare. Something about her was very mysterious to him.

"It must be interesting around here if you lived here for so long. I'm sorry that you don't know many others, I'm sure you will over time." Charlamagne replied with a warm smile of her own. She shifted her weight for a moment, but tilted her head at him when he threw question after question at her. When he paused, she couldn't help but giggle before answering the questions to the best of her ability. "Yes, I came here alone. Yes, I have a place to stay... I live in the clearing near the mountains... and a tour sounds nice."
