Azriel Esposito
Half Angel, Half Fae

Rouge

"There is no price to a life, for a life is a gift given to all, and each should be equally revered."

Azriel has long, straight, golden hair that flows to about waist length and amber eyes that sometimes seem to be alive with fire. He wears simple clothes, but his ordinate sword and bow show a small bit of wealth. He also usually wears a black traveling cloak with his quiver strapped over it. When he allows his wings to show, they emerge tip first from the very top corner of his shoulder blade, igniting with holy fire as they appear. His irises also lose colour except for a gray ring around the edge of the iris. At night he will often summon orbs of fire about him for more light, even though he doesn't really need it, but he will extinguish the lights if he gets a feeling someone is watching him.

((Picture to come soon))

Azriel grew up on the streets. His parents abandoned him, died, or were otherwise separated from him before he could remember much of them. A local rouge named Stephen took Azriel under his wing when he found Azriel crying in an alleyway. It was a chilly October night- the 23rd to be exact- when Stephen found Azriel. Stephen had said that Azriel looked about two years old at the time, and that he felt terrible for Azriel. Knowing that he couldn't give Azriel much, Stephen still decided that Azriel was better off having little to eat rather than none. Stephen taught Azriel much of his morals, as well as how to swindle, con, cheat, steal, spy, and fight. That was the way of life for a rouge; a fact of life. There was no other way for them to survive, though Stephen would punish Azriel whenever he did any of these things without absolute need, though those occasions were rare as a child, and once punished, he never would do something like that again. It wasn't long from when he was found before he figured out that he was a Fire Fae, at least in part. Whenever he would get upset a sparks would begin to jump off of Azriel and start fires, however, if you looked carefully, you could see a flicker of light sparkle in his eye like a flame when he was happy. Also, at night he would unwittingly summon lights about him, which were obviously the mysterious lights called Will o' the Wisp. The lights would disappear automatically if Azriel thought someone was watching him when he was young, since he was very shy and private by nature. He had never been too fond of relating too closely and directly with people, as his magic reflected. However, without instruction it wasn't until he was five that he began to gain control on his powers, but by thirteen he had mastered them enough to control what burned and what didn't and more precise, mid-air controls a majority of the time.

Catastrophe did not strike until Azriel turned sixteen, but catastrophe was just what Azriel needed to discover his Angelic half. A demon had attacked Stephen, killing him. Unfortunately for the demon, Azriel walked in on the murder and was so upset his Angelic half suddenly showed itself. White feathered wings emerged from his back. Each feather had a line of white fire on it's edge, though they did not burn. After trying to wake Stephen Azriel looked up at the demon. His green eyes had turned white, with a gray line marking the division of the iris and the white of his eye. Gracefully, Azriel rose, locking the demon's eyes with his. "Begone," he told the demon, lifting up his arm and shooting a stream of fire at the creature. Unlike his normal red flame this fire was white and only burned the demon and it's demonic aura, leaving the clothes behind, purified. Instantly, he knew he shouldn't have killed the demon, it would not have brought Stephen back, and the demon had family too, though something else told him that he had saved many lives in doing so. Nonetheless, Azriel did a funeral ritual for Stephen at the foot of a tree he used to love to climb and watch travelers pass by. He did not know what would be considered an actual ritual by priests or monks, but he did what felt right to him. The only things of Stephens that he took was Stephens bow, arrows, and quiver, and his silver sword. he only took those because he remembered Stephen saying, "When I can no longer fight, I want you to continue using these, and I hope they serve you as well as they have served me, and I hope you never needlessly raise them against anyone." Since then Azriel has found that he also has a talent for dancing, storytelling, and singing. He travels with his wings hidden like they had been for sixteen years, going from one tavern to the next singing sonnets, telling stories from other lands, and fire dancing in exchange for food and room for the night since he brings in more customers. He also will occasionally join a preforming troupe for a little while before mysteriously disappearing. Besides that he also uses his powers to act as a doctor whenever he sees someone sick or hears of someone being sick. That, of course, he does for free and refuses tips saying, "There is no price to a life". He uses tips he gets from his performances to buy himself new clothes, and is known as 'The Kind Ghost' in some of the far off towns in Farsha since he will drop his spare money at the doors of some of the poorest houses in a village late at night after knocking loudly on the door. He would then walk away in his dark traveling cloak with the hood up, his little orbs of light bouncing around him before they disappeared, seemingly along with him.

Weapons:
Bow and Arrows- Azriel uses his own shed feathers for the arrows, so that he may ignite the feather and arrow with holy fire as he shoots it. The bow is a composite styled bow. He stores both his bow and arrows in the quiver that was left to him along with the bow by his mentor, Stephen.

Silver Sword- Schiavona styled sword with the words "Revereri de Animae", etched into the side, meaning "Reverence of Life". ((I'm not sure if that's correct Latin, since my cousin translated for me. He warned me it not be right since he just started to take Latin this semester, but the meaning is what matters, right?))

Arcane Rites
-
Birthrights
-Fire summoning/control (From being a Fire Fae)
-Blessing (Purafication) (From being an angel)
-Holy Fire (Blessing/fire summoning/control combo)
-Flaming Feathered Wings (The reaction of his Fae and angelic blood, resulting in winged with feathers edged with holy fire.) Note; He's capable of hiding these wings because he's not a full angel, so he can suppress his angelic half, but his angel-related powers effectiveness is cut in half when he does so.
