This was inspired by video that my friend recorded at Ushicon...oh...how I wish I could have been there... emo

Hee hee, I have a funny story from Naka-Kon 2007. I don't have a video of it, so I shall just describe it in words. biggrin DD
The attendees of Naka-Kon 2007 here in Kansas City, MO back in March were very, very fortunate in that Steven Jay Blum was a guest. During one of his first panels on Friday night, a typical Q&A panel, someone asked him a question relating to his relations with other voice actors. It led to him disclosing that he's actually very, very good friends with Vic Mignogna. Steve then proceeded to pull out his cell phone and call him. Vic answered, and Steve put the cell on speaker phone and held it up to his mic.
"Hey Vic, it's Steve. I'm just calling from a con in Kansas City because there's someone who would like to talk to you."
"Alright, who is it?"
"Okay."
Everyone in the room: "HEY VIC!!!!!"
"OH MY GOSH! There are a ton of people in there!! What con are you at?"
"Naka-Kon."
*cheers*
"Wow, you guys are awesome!"
Afterwards, we attempted to call Crispin Freeman, but he didn't answer his phone. So we left a message. xD

I'm hoping to actually go into panels this year, since last year at Anime North (I'm Canadian, so sue me. ._.; ) all I did was walk around the dealers floor. I wish Crispin Freeman had answered. not really a vid but there are audio clips of Derek Stephen Prince's eclectic online radio show Wordplay that airs on Fridays at 7:30pm pacific time on www.ktstfm.com and he's done a couple of shows as anime characters such as Shino Aburame, Uryu Ishida, and this past Friday he did a show as Veemon (and it was adorable!) the other shows are still enjoyable even if they're not related to anime. xp if you go to his site, http://www.steveprinceproductions.com/PreviousShowsAlphabet.html you can find these old shows gone anime style: N Words- Shino O Artists- Uryu (thats not up yet... hmm I'll see if I can find it elsewhere) V Artists- Veemon (go to shows of 2007 to find it) the other shows are cool too mrgreen
