Poza yawned as she unstretched, she'd been asleep in a tree and it had gotten a bit too uncomfortable. She lept off of it and continued stretching her limbs, her bright eyes flickering over the grasses. She was in a constant state of happiness after her few run ins with Kajji, but she was still a little confused. Hopefully she would one day be able to stay with him always, though she didn't know if he truly wanted that or just sweet talked her all the time.
Her long tail flicked as she began to take her graceful stride toward the hills in the distance. The night was beautiful, the stars were out in full force. A large, glittering blanket for the heavens and world below. She laughed slightly to herself, a low purr sounding from her throat.

Akia was trotting through the grasses to Poza's left, a dark-speckled ghost cutting through the shadows of the night. At this time, the air was fresh and crisp, and he loved it. Night was becoming his favourite time to move about, and he thought it a shame his pelt stuck out like a sore paw in the darkness. It would have made it more fun if he could melt into the shadows the way his mother could.
He did not notice Poza for the moment, too busy was he working at not thinking about Uhaya, and the things she'd said that had made worrisome thoughts press into his mind. It wasn't working completely, but some was better than none.

Poza had gotten all the way to the top of the hill and had sat before she herself noticed the white, night-spotted ghost. Her ears perked and she grinned. "Hi there." She called, though not too loudly. She decided that tonight was a good night to practice quiet, everything was too peaceful and calm.
"Looks like we both had the same idea." Poza was rather friendly, so she didn't mind talking to strangers or diving right into a conversation.

Akia glanced up as a friendly greeting floated to him on the night air. His bright eyes found Poza after a few seconds searching the darkness, and he instantly smiled. A friendly stranger was a marvelous thing to him, and he changed his direction slightly to head right for her. He wasn't having much luck blocking out his thoughts, so perhaps the pleasant distraction of a companion would help him.
"Hello to you, too," he said back, when he was close enough to have no need for raising his voice. "And if your idea was to wander and enjoy the night air, then yes, we had the same idea." He smiled as he sat, curling his tail around his forepaws. "My name is Akia. And yours is...?"

She seemed to giggle and shake her head, then paused. "Well yes, that too. But you picked a very good seat! I'm Poza." Her tail shifted just slightly as she bowed her head to him, sitting after a minute.
