I know it would be difficult to restart the series but could anyone else possibly see Sci-Fi picking up Firefly at a future time and jump starting it?

I hope and pray everyday that Sci-Fi will get the rights to this show. However, the Fox execs are bastards that won't sell the rights to something they cancelled.

No, but does that mean that Joss can't write a new show set in the same 'verse? I wonder exactly what Fox has control over regarding it. Besides, it could be called a collaborative effort.

They have the movie rights for the next 5? 10? years. Plus, Joss is done with TV. He's moved on. Sadly... *sigh*
