Ukomo moved through the pridal grasses with a slow, almost graceful walk. She'd practiced her movement long and hard, mimicing a few of the adults she'd watched. She'd even seen how her father had moved, and made sure to move like him... just more in a feminine way! Her crimson eyes were floating over the land and she let out a slow sigh, she was bored.
But that was probably because not only did she avoid her siblings as much as possible... she avoided other cubs as much as possible too! But she wasn't exactly a cub, she had grown larger and some of her cub-chub had melted off of her body. (She was quite pleased about this). It still made no difference, she had no want to go near others. She was actually looking for something little and easy to catch. Bugs, mice... maybe even a rabbit if she could run fast enough.
Her tail flicked and her small ears perked up, a slow grin crawling onto her face. Speak of the devil! A little mouse was scurrying through the grass as fast as it's little legs would bring it. She began to pick up her pace, following it carefully.

Kaikura was on the prowl as well. He spent his days training-to be strong, fast, and fierce. Today he was practicing his stealth. He had bent down low in the grass, on his belly, and moved with quite motions out of sight. His ears perked with attentiveness he searched for something to chase, to attack. And what do you know! A mouse scurried right into his path! Little did he know that it had another follower.
He bent down, feeling his muscles tense as it scurried before him and when it came close...POUNCE! "GRAWR!" he jumped on top of the mouth with open claws, trying to pin it and bite at it with his full set of teeth.

Her eyes widened as she heard, rather than saw, Kaikura. She had to jerk herself back as the other juvenile seemed to pounce at her target. She gave a fierce little snarl and suddenly lunged at him. "What are you doin! That's mine!" She exlaimed, trying to tackle him away from her prey.

Kaikura was in hunting mode. Therefore he didn't care who it was tackling him, attacking, whatever, he was going to try and beat the s**t out of them. He yowled in anger as a form jumped at him, barely dashing out of the way and then quickly lashing out again as if his muscles were on springs. The mouse was forgotten, for here he had a full on monster attacking him head on. Obviously he didn't even bother to look closely to see who-or what-it was.

She snarled out as he lashed out and she jerked back, far enough to be in a safe distance. She kept her gaze partly on him and partly flickering around, looking for the mouse. "Look what you've done now!" She growled out, her crimson eyes meeting his.

Kaikura eyed her critically as he calmed down for a brief moment. Oh, she was just a dumb lioness. How boring. He rolled his eyes, keeping his claws out though, "It's not my fault you got in my way, stupid." The mouse wouldn't have escaped him if she had just stayed put. Not that he cared. It wasn't about the mouse, it was about his training. His strength. That was all.

(Just a little note. Her name is Eusi now, because the name never got changed on her cert xd so yeah. I'll just stick to Eusi.)
Her eyes flashed angrily and she hissed slightly. "I'm not the stupid one. Females are naturally smarter than males you know... oh wait, how could you of? You're less intelligent than me!" That made sense... but it was also silly and immature.
In a little hissy fit she'd decided that this was not worth her time and she scampered away, fuming.
