As Kyra is coming up to two this year, and a request I accepted has a child who is over 24 months, I have decided to go a bit further and make a 2 - 4 years thread. This is for those who have children aged 2 right up until their fifth birthday.

Holy Friggin' hell it's arrived!!!! gonk crying burning_eyes Yes, Kyra turned two yesterday (June 8th). She had a fab day, didn't want to go to bed though, wanted to play on her new slide instead. She also got a kids trampoline, play doh set, Care Bears Family DVD box set, Charlotte's Web DVD (the new movie), a dolls house, a teddy, some clothes, and a few other lil bits and bobs lol But seriously, it doesn't seem that long ago we'd just hit January '07, actually, it don't feel like it's been a whoe year since she turned one. My baby is growing up sad I'll get the pictures of her birthday developed and should have them up in a couple of weeks time. God time flies far to quickly crying

Is all that we see or seem... Soo Aeryn is turning 3 in July. Still can't imagine that time's gone by that fast, you know? Not to mention what happened to my sweet little innocent angel? lol.
She now has many annoying habits, such as: *talking back to me and trying to smack me. *refuses to go shopping at Wal-Mart..according to her only the Mall will do. * AND she's now hitting the icky biting stage.
Although there ARE some good things about this age: *she cuddles with ME more, and plays with Daddy more. *we can understand her somewhat better.
And the latter is my main reason of concern. She's hardly talking for a 2 year old/almost 3 year old. I mean, maybe it's because she's also learning Portuguese and technically Chinese [[all thanks to Nihao Kai-lan the chinese Dora, lol]] at the same time but still. This makes me feel inadequate as a parent, you know? ...but a dream within a dream?
