 Béatrice had signifacently understood that for her to be apart from everyone. She had to stop trying so hard. She felt like staying in her room forever. She past memories of her with other numas playing and having fun. It didn't seem to suit her; or ... she was too meaningless to have any. She thought. She remembered her firey friend as she walked up to the sweet hills. Under the large lollipop tree as always; laying curled under it.
She had some memories fill in to her head. The green numa that seemed to find a way to make her tail flicker, the black kinged numa that seemed to be closer to each day.. her true friend, A turkey numa as like herself who made her heart jump, remebering so much numas but she felt alone. Her ears slicked down and she put her head upon her hands; thinking.
A memory past her of the soft look of the fire numa. Elenshi. She looked to the side with a blush. "He is cute when he sleeps." Her tail wagged excitedly. She nodded off in a slight nap.

Elenshi had always thought of himself as a loner. Not out of choice, but simply because he was socially inept and always seemed to say the wrong thing. He had long held the hope and belief that this was because he wasn't around his own kind - and then he came to his homeland, after nearly a year, and found himself just as inept as before.
With one big difference.
Here, they didn't mind or make fun of his fumbling. The other Numas accepted him as he was, and for the most part, seemed even to like him. Even Beatrice - her soft autumn colors filled his mind - had begun to like him after the first few awkward minutes.
And yet - he frowned, worrying over Beatrice. While at times she had all the poise and elegance of a great lady, and others all the joy of one who knew the world and loved it, he had seen her smile destroyed far too many times by a lack of self-confidence even greater than his own. What had caused it?
He might never know, but Elenshi was determined to help her regain her confidence and self-worth. She was a wonderful and beautiful person, and he hoped to someday help her realize that.
With these thoughts in mind, he set off to look for her.

Since she had a defect her other senses were increased some. She smelt a hint of another numa but her eyes remained closed. Her tail flickered some but still waiting to identify the smell. She'd rather have known the scent first before either defending herself or reacting.
"..." Her ear twitched. "That smell...? Its him?" She sniffed more still laying down. "Heh. Im thinking about it so much that I even smell him now." Her tail wagged excitedly; She giggled and napped; having the scent in her nose.

As he came over a hill, Elenshi spotted Beatrice under a lollipop tree. He frowned as he saw that she seemed to be thrashing, but as he ran nearer, he saw that she was smiling and her eyes were closed. She was undoubtedly having some sort of pleasant dream. With a smile, he padded over and sat down next to her, patiently waiting for her to wake.

She smelt the scent more clear.. so clear and think now. Her head moved around and she nuzzled around; her nose moving up and down trying to catch the smell. Her short vivid dream; she was pouncing about and Elenshi came to her. He was happy and jolly; making her happy to see him. She pawed some and touched something soft. Her nose went for the fluffy thing; his tail. She snuggled and clinged to his tail happily wagging her tail.
"I can even feel him... so sweet and soft.." She mumbled under her breath. Her ears twitched.

Elenshi blinked as she claimed his tail. What's she dreaming about? he wondered. His sensitive ears caught her mumbled words, and he began to wonder if she was really asleep, or just on her way to sleep. Or pretending.
An evil thought began forming in his mind, and he slowly started leaning over, preparing to tickle...

She nipped on his tail; in and out of the dream. He kept on pouncing around! She tried to grab on to him but he kept slipping out of her paws. When she went to pounce him he caught her in bid fall. She blinked at him confused some. He nuzzled her and licked her muzzle. Her eyes widened and she blushed in shock.
"WHA!" She woke up and nervously fluttered her wings around.

Beatrice woke just as Elenshi's paws reached her midsection. Deciding this was no impediment, he began to tickle, a wide grin on his face.
"Good morning, Beatrice!"

Her cheeks were already in blush and she laughed from the tickling. Her body got weak from the sudden tickling; her wings flapping around as she did. She wiggled around pawing up at him. "AHH! hehehe" She laughed more and tried to pounce on him; couldn't so she clinged to him and nipped at his fins. "Heheh I got'cha now! " She snuggled her nose in his fur purring and giggling.

Elenshi grinned. "So you do." he stopped tickling and nuzzled her. You had me from the start, he thought.

She nuzzled and nipped at him Giggling and all. His presense was bright and made her not want to be alone. She licked his fin softly. "Hmm.. yummy!" She snuggled her head under his chin; curling her tail around him. Not seeming much of anything she could do to not think about that cold feeling. Alone.
She repeated in her head but tried to stop. Her feather slicked down to her body like scales as she purred softly. Her fair fur was to her perfect comfort. "Hm?" She heard what he said and slightly missed the point. "Wah! Of course! My Vicccctuuum! Hehe."

Elenshi grinned wider and laughed along with her. He nuzzled against Beatrice and began to purr.

She wagged her tail hyperly. She hadn't been so close to a numa that she shared same playfulliness since her past.
She looked at him... with a split moment she remembered the dream and blushed.
She wondered how he found her in the first place; here at her spot. "H-How did you find me?" She said with a slight question -tilts her head to one side-
She got some nervous from being so close to him now. That never happened. She thought everyone's personal space was hers too, the bounderies she didn't understand... butterflies rised in her stomach. The reaction; her ears slicked down to her head.

Noticing that Beatrice looked a little nervous, Elenshi subtly shifted so that he was a couple inches further away. "I was looking for you, and this area looked like it would appeal to you. And then when I topped the hill, I noticed movement..." He paused and grinned. "Did you know that you move in your sleep? Quite actively."
