Allrighty everyone, here are the rules.
This is a literate board, let's keep it that way. I don't mind somewhat short posts, but no one liners. Give everyone something to work with. This is a mature place, I repeat, mature... so if you don't think you're mature enough to be here, kindly leave. Unfortunately, keep the romance to a PG-13 level, then take it to PMs.
Here, there are masters, mistress' and pets. Please state which one you would care to be before joining. Do not kill the numbers, try to keep them even. I don't want 20 female pets, and only one master, or vice versa. No one is perfect, not even pet's looks, try to keep it SOMEWHAT realistic. (By that I don't mean your char has to be fat and ugly... no one wants that xDD)
Mmk, here's the setting (it is based upon the book by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, "Midnight Predator", if you haven't read it, no worries): A tall, black building stands strong in NYC. The outside is full of beautiful bushes of black roses, with tall cast-iron gates protecting this mystical place from the outside world. Ivy snakes up the gates, and here and there, even up the building. The place seems to have an aura of it's own... a dark one.
Inside there are many floors, each one having numerous amounts of apartments, with hallways carpeted in black. A ballroom resides on the first floor, to the left of the main lobby. This ballroom has many purposes, one of which is to sell slaves. Each slave is either human or witch, witches being less common, and more called for by the bidders.
What exactly are these bidders you ask? No more then vampires... Some of the most powerful, darkest creatures around. They want these slaves for not only their own pleasures, but to feed off of them, though they never kill them.
Allrighty, that's all I can think of plot/setting wise for now, but it may change sooner or later.
There are also consequences for breaking my rules. First you will be warned, next you will be temporarily banned, and last you will be banned for good. I will be giving certain people powers over the board, like admins and co admins. They can and will be able to ban you if they see fit. So please, be good, respect others, blah blah blah. You should have all learned this in grammar school xp

Vampires
What they can and can't do -They do not sleep in coffins
-They do not burn in sunlight, but it does bother their eyes. They also burn easier, and it takes them longer to heal from sun damage. If they are out too long, it can be fatal.
-Vampires can cross over running water
-crosses do not bother them
-they can (and some even do) go to church
-Their reflection grows fainter the older they become
-the older, the more powerful
-Vampires cannot cast spells, but if a mortal was to look into their eyes, they would be temporarily stunned, or even be put into a short coma
-They dislike the smell of garlic, but only because their sense of smell is twenty times stronger then that of an average bloodhound
-Holy water does not burn them, or harm them in any way
-Silver is fine against their skin
-They would die with a stake through the heart, but wouldn't you?
-After a vampire is created, they do not age
-They heal quickly, depending on the severity of the wound, they can die
-With age comes power
-They are fast, EXTREMELY fast
-Vampires can teleport, using their minds
-Vampires can read others thoughts, but some (including other vampires, witches, and some skilled humans) can create a wall to hide their mind
-A vampire can turn into a selected animal, though the animal must be touched before the vampire can acquire it's form
-a vampire's spit has a special chemical in it that helps heal wounds, as well as make other vampires
-To create a vampire, one must bite the neck, drain most of the blood, and then feed the victim their own blood
-the harder of a struggle a victim puts up when they are turned, the more powerful they will be
-When a vampire finds a victim that they like, they will mark them by biting their neck, then licking the wound, leaving a mark and their scent
-Witch's have a stronger, more enticing scent then humans, as well as a better tasting blood
-Vampires can smell and track blood
-Some witch blood is poisonous to them
--Vampires can die, but they are immortal
-Illnesses do not effect them
-When a vampire does not feed for four days, it goes into a blood lust, and kills until it is satisfied
-Vampires do not kill their prey when they feed, only when they are in blood lust do they kill
