Azima yawned as he lazily headed back through the pridelands. His second trip here, he wasn't really sure why he came. Okay, well part of him was curious to see how baldy was doing. And he almost felt like he should be apologizing, or something. The other part of him just wanted to escape his twin. Filthy soul stealer, why did she want to be around him so much? To get the other half of his soul of course!

His tail lashed back and forth and his nostrils flared, he would find Roho. "And pounce the little baldy and scare the daylights out of him.." He smirked, though he'd be doing it in a playful manner this time. He doubted Roho would see it as that, but Azima was coming to find that he rather enjoyed being in close contact with other males. So why shouldn't he?

Baldy? Oh, hell no. There was nothing bald about Roho now. Much older than when Azima first met him, he was now well under way of growing a handsome pale mane that highlighted the gold of his fur. It was only really his colour, and his eyes, that indicated he was the cub Azima had met so long ago. He was much different now. Though he was not full grown, it was clear he was going to be a big lion, his energy and restlessness as a cub translating into athleticism when older, which in turn had given him a strong, healthy body. He didn't have the build of an adult, but a decent amount of musculature was already showing under his fur.

He was lazily strolling through the grasses of the Pridelands now, not a care in the world, and not expecting to run into his probably least favourite lion in the world. With the amount of time that had passed, and with all the fun he'd had since, he'd managed to push all memories of Azima's meanness to the back of his mind where it belonged, but that didn't mean he'd forgotten that day. Far from it.

He paused in his even stride to stretch, yawning with a slight growl to it, before straightening up to once again continue his meandering walk.

Azima blinked as he crept through the grass, sure that was Baldy's scent. After a while of careful tracking he spotted the other. Azima was no master at stealth though. "Whatdya know... a mane!" He smirked and started to chuckle quietly. So Baldy was no longer bald! Actually... he was quite handsome and certainly no cub any longer. His tail flicked and he crouched lower in the grass. Should he even try and pounce Baldy? His stunning blue eyes flickered over the small muscles, muscles he didn't think any real juvenile should really have.

He glanced down to his oawn paw, holding up his arm and made a face of disappointment. Paws down Roho looked much stronger than Azima. He wondered if he'd grown a backbone alone with those muscles. So he crept forward a little bit, not realizing his scent was on the wind, and the wind was just tumbling right past Roho's nose.

"Gotchya!" He yelled, launching himself at the other juvenile.

His nose twitched. That scent! He knew that scent. That was reddy's scent! He was here..? Oh, great. This was a nice, lazy, peaceful day, and that thing had to return to the Pridelands to completely ruin it. He instinctively stiffened as he glanced around, trying to locate that distinctive red that he'd never seen before or since.

And he did, dark eyes widening, just as Azima yelled and leapt at him.

As a cub, he had been a bumbling little ball of fluff. As time was passing, though, he was starting to develop reflexes, and he put these to good use now, leaping back a few paces out of Azima's trajectory, and then walking backwards a few more steps just to make sure he was not going to end up pinned underneath this lion again.

He raised an eyebrow. "No. You haven't got me."

Azima's eyes widened and when he realized nothing would end up under him he ducked his head and tried to land on his paws, which didn't work out so much. He ended up stumbling forward onto his back with an 'oof'. Well that wasn't attractive, not at all. He pouted slightly to himself and then worked on getting to his feet.

His eyes flickered carefully over Roho's new form, and then met his eyes. He just grinned, not at all put off that the other wasn't happy to see him. "So you've worked on your escape tactics, eh? Evaiding, even." His tail flicked and he realized, with a little annoyance, that Roho was just bigger than him now. No fair!

"So, how have you been baldy?" He grinned more this time, but his words held a certain playfulness about them instead of the previous mean overtone he'd used on their first meeting.

Roho tilted his head at Azima, just generally put out at the other male's presence here, where Roho lived and was otherwise happy. Just why did he keep coming here? It was twice now, and both times he'd made a point of annoying poor Roho. Deliberately, too. All Roho had done is say hello. Did that warrant such brattiness?

"I have somewhere I have to be," he said, not answering any of Azima's questions, just wanting the other male to leave. He began walking again, in the direction he'd been heading before, but at a not so lazy pace as he had been. It wasn't a complete lie. He had been meandering in the general direction of where he thought his sister might be, but he'd been keeping a look out for anything fun on the way to getting there.

Azima blinked, his face fell and he just watched a moment. Well that was quite rude, wasn't it? He was one to speak though, his whole additude was the main reason Roho didn't like him. His tail flicked and he huffed, still watching.

Well this sucked. It wasn't his fault he'd been in a horrible mood those few weeks, and that meeting had fallen within those weeks. But Azima wasn't that stupid, what would a juvenile have to do? What meeting, what place to be? "What, does your mom want you home or something?" He called as he stood and tottered after Roho.

It was quite obvious Azima was oblivious to hints, and he'd probably bother Roho until he got what he wanted. Not that he ever knew what he wanted.

Oh, why did Azima have to be so oblivious to the fact that Roho just didn't want him there? Or was he being deliberately ignorant? Whatever it was, Roho wished he would simply quit it. Roho didn't like the company of those who were unpleasant, and unfortunately for Azima, he'd been unpleasant enough for Roho to not want to be near him.

"I'm going to meet my sister, if you want to know," he said over his shoulder, quickening his pace. He just hoped she was there to save him from this guy.

He wanted to go see his sister? What was wrong with him! Azima avoided his sister like the plague. At least; his twin sister. "Oh?" Though the awkwardness as setting in as Roho quickened his pace. Azima's seemed to slow down a bit as he thought out what to do, feeling rather distraught and a little annoyed. Didn't baldy believe in second chances?

"Maybe she'll make a better playmate than you." He muttered to himself, rolling his eyes. In truth though he didn't like playing with girls that much... well, depending. His two other sisters were both weirdos. One needing to be clean all of the time and the other never knowing when to be clean. Annoying.

Perhaps he should just mess with Roho's mind more if he didn't want to play? He winced and began to dash a little to catch back up to him. No, that wouldn't do. "And where's your sister waiting, hmm?" Right. If a problem existed in your plans to make a friend just ignore it completely and keep going like nothing bad has happened! Azima was a stubborn little thing.

If there had ever been a time in Roho's short life where he might have growled at someone, this would be it. Why would Azima not leave well enough alone? What was wrong with him? Why was he so determined to push himself into Roho's presence? It was beginning to vex him, and Roho might well have growled at Azima... if he'd been start kind of lion, which he most certainly was not.

He glanced over his shoulder at Azima as he trotted to catch back up, tail flicking his tail against the grass they walked through. There was no harm in telling, he supposed, since it seemed Azima was going to be accompanying him whether he wanted the other lion to or not. "There's a watering hole this way. She'll probably be there." At least, he hoped she'd be there. Roho was hoping that Azima would grow discouraged if Roho already had company for the day.

He blinked. "Probably? So you don't really have to meet her then?" He didn't sound annoyed at this, more or less amused. Though he was a little hurt, but that couldn't be helped and he knew Roho didn't like him. It was obvious. But for some reason he really wanted to change that!

"That's a good way to get away from someone." He grinned, just in case if Roho turned to look at him. Azima wanted to point out that ditching people, even those you didn't like, was almost as rude as being mean to others. Almost.

Roho turned his attention to jumping onto and then over a log almost as tall as him, picking up his fast pace once he was moving through the grass again. "I said I'd probably catch up with her some time today, and I was going that way when you showed up."

Roho glanced at Azima again, and blinked when he caught that grin. For some reason, it gave him pause; Azima didn't look like the lion who'd pestered him when he pulled that face. But it was him, Roho reminded himself, as he turned his gaze forward again. "Obviously it's not all that good," he said, but not with any real sarcasm, because that really was mean.

Well that sure whiped the grin from his face, his ears perking forward almost to listen if he'd heard Roho's words correctly. He wondered breifly if he was catching them right... obviously it's not all that good... because I am still here? Or obviously not all that good because... well it's bad? He wasn't sure what he ment, but this game was slowly losing it's interesting points for Azima. Perhaps he would just give the other boy some time... or maybe he should look for new friends, eh? But Azima was stubborn.

"R..right. Well any ways my papa... my papa.." He couldn't even come up with an excuse to leave! "I need to go see my father." He said finally. His tail flickered and he suddenly shoved being upset aside, because why should it really matter? "Byebye~!" He finally called out, his tone cheerful again as he turned and started to dart off. He'd make Roho like him, if he had to.
