Kajji's eyes danced with happiness as he survayed the empty expanse of plains before him. Cocking his head slightly to the left and then the right, as he looked about, he made quite the sight. Panting in the heat, Kajji moved towards one of the lone trees that dotted the area. He had returned to the southlands in hoping that he could find Poza, as he had taken to her. His heart had plumated as the time of his search grew longer. Reaching the tree, Kajji settled onto his hunches, to take a break.

Poza was just slipping into the southlands from the prideland boarders, she enjoyed exploring some of the surrounding lands daily. But something had told her it was time for food, or just to go back to her home.
She moved with a light, fast grace and her eyes flickered over the lands. Should she go hunting or... She suddenly stopped, freezing in place and then crouching down. A little baby water buck all by it's lonesome? She smirked and suddenly began to creep her way toward it. Her nostrils flared and she blinked, momentarily looking away from her pray. Was Kajji around?
She shook her head and looked back to what she was doing. She shouldn't be fooling herself, he wouldn't come back... would he? She hoped he would. Her heart sped up just thinking about him coming into these lands just to see her! Well, a girl will have her fantasies.
She spotted her target again and moved forward, creeping ever so slowly. Once she was close enough she shot out, sending the buck into a mad run of its own!
Though she was fast, a good hunter. She'd gotten him down slowly. Something caused her to look up and right in her line of vision was a thin tree and a mass of black.. with metalic glinting from it's fur. Kajji? Her heart positively raced! "....Kajji, is that you?" She called, her voice unsure and she tried to keep the despration of wanting it to be him out.

Kajji's eyes widened as he heard Poza's voice wisphering on the wind. Looking up, he whirled around until her spotted her. A large grin crossing his face as he scrambled to his feet. "Indeed it is my dear" Kajji called out to her. Dispite the heat, Kajji made his way towards her swiftly. Once he had reached her, he settled onto his hunches next to her. Surprised that she had remembered him. "How have you been?"

She sat herself down to, staring down at her fresh kill. How was she supposed to greet him? Was it alright to give him a friendly nuzzle hello? Well she supposed that she'd waited too long now. She just grinned at him. "I've been surviving." She said, her tone becoming teasing. "Though undoubtably bored. What brings you back to this area?" Her grin seemed to widen, her ears perked. So what if she was fishing for compliments and praise?
"Oh... Are you hungry?" She glanced back to the waterbuck baby, wanting to eat some herself.

Kajji's smile grew as he watched her. How he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. "Why for you my'dear" Subconciously a deep purr rose from within his chest, showing his happiness to the world. Looking over at the kill she had made, he grinned. "Sure" She was so talented, it took him a while just to bring down a small animal being so large and she had done it in moments.

She laughed and looked rather happy at his words, shutting her eyes momentarily. "Oh... well where are you really from Kajji?" She remembered again that he'd never told her. "Maybe I would like to see you homelands." At his words of approval, that he would eat, her tail curled around her paws and she motioned her head to the animal. "Then dig in, silly!" She laughed, she wanted him to eat first. She wanted to be able to provide for him and make him happy!

Kajji bowed low, " ladies first?" He offered up, wanting her to eat for the same reasons she wanted him to eat first for. Watching her, he couldn't help but grin, his entire being feeling light. It was almost like he was a cub again. Smiling at her, his eyes filled with the love he felt for Poza. " Originally I'm from the Pridelands, though I lived in hte Elephant Graveyard for a bit as well"

(Don't you have Kajji in the Kusini'Mwezi right now?)
She nodded and gave in, moving forward and leaning down. Her bites were small and careful, she wasn't a messy eater but she was not a clean eater intentionally. That was just the most comfortable way to eat her food.
She thought about his words and nodded some, bringing her head up for a moment. "Yes, I know where both of those places are." She said, then grinned and continued eating. After another little bit she was finished and moved back, licking at a paw as she glanced to him. "You can have your fill now!" She smiled.

Kajii smiled as he watched her eat, occasionally glancing around in case anyone would try to take the kill. Flicking his tail, he moved forward once she was finished. Settling down next to the kill, he began to eat slowly, also a careful eater. In between bites, he wished to continue the conversation. "At the moment however I reside with the Kusini'Mwezi Pride, though I have not been back for many moons"

Her ears perked. "Hmm, The Kusini.... prides?" Her head tilted and she thought a little but knew she did not know these lands, and that made her excited. Maybe he would bring her to them if she asked! "Why haven't you been back to them?"
Her tail uncurled from her body and she watched him eat, grinning to herself. He was perfect! For her, at least.

Finishing up with feeding, Kajji stepped backwards from the kill. Moving over to sit next to Poza. "I'm not sure why I haven't returned there in a while, I've heard rumor's that my family has been banished. So I am unsure if I can return" Settling his weight lightly on his hunches, he wrapped his tail around her's lightly. Enjoying the warmth from their connection.

She frowned and leaned into his larger body, purring slightly. "That's too bad.... you should live here with me." She said, glancing up at him sideways, holding her breath. She wanted him to stay with her always, but did he want to stay with her? Well this was perfect oppertunety to find out. "I mean... I don't think my current den... which is a tree and not a den, is suitable... but we could find a place to live... together.." Her eyebrows raised as she waited for an answer.

At her words, Kajji's subconscious purring grew louder. His love for her shone deep within his eyes as he gently nuzzled against her. "I would love to stay with you my dear" He was glad that she felt the way that he did.

She almost squealed in excitement but instead she nuzzled herself hard into Kajji. Kajji would stay! That ment she had a... er a boyfriend, at the least. And a living partner and, now she could find an actual den! She hoped he wouldn't ever get bored of her... what if he did? He'd leave! She frowned just so slightly and then smiled again. "Great." She purred out, nuzzling him again.
After a while of sitting with him she started to yawn and feel sleepy, snuggling into him she started to sleep. He would protect her!
