I have a question...Before Gaara's fight with Sasuke, Gaara had bled before, right? With the fight with Rock Lee? So why did he freak out with Sasuke and not Rock Lee. Was it because it was so much blood, or what?

No he didn't bleed. Lee did. He has never bled in his life except the time when he fights Sasuke . I still think Sasuke is an a*****e . Oh and by the way if that was the first time I ever bled before I might have freaked out too !!!!

i coulda sworn that rock lee made a cut on his cheek...or was that just the sand armor?

I watched that fight a lot. Lee scratched him but it didn't really bleed.

No Gaara was not the one who bled. The sand protected him from that.

If you watch closely, you see parts falling from his face, and as far as I know, skin doesn't fall in smile grains.

I know that I'm not referring to cracks in the armor, there was a distinctive scratch on him perhaps it was a animator goof is what I was saying in reference to the scratch I saw on him. xp

He's bled before. I'm not sure what episode you're on but you'll see in his past. He gets a scar and was crying and bleeding at the same time.

The only time he had ever bled before the Sasuke fight was when he gave himself the love kanji on his forehead. It's that simple. The scratch/animator goof you may have seen was a crack.

The scratch/animator goof you may have seen was a crack. it was a red line. which indicates a scratch, black lines generally appear when his armor is cracked.
