This thread is dedicated to all those crazy things out there that make our brains hurt that I love. Post away with your own riddles and problems or try to solve ones that others have posted. Who knows; if you answer something correctly the person who posted it might have a prize waiting for you.

This is the first problem I am posting. It is a mathmatical problem and is quite a teaser. It's awesome.
And I am saying right now; whoever answers this thing correctly WITHOUT HELP OF ANY KIND will be given something. I haven't figured out what yet, but it'll be something substantial and worth your time.
You must post the steps that you used to come to the answer as well.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two men walk in the street. While in conversation, the second man asks the first the age of his three daughters. The first answers like this :

FIRST : The product of their ages gives 36.
SECOND : Huh… I can’t find their ages!
FIRST : The sum of their ages gives the number of this house’s door.
SECOND : I still can’t find their ages…
FIRST : The elder has blonde hair.
SECOND : Oh, now I see.

What are the ages of the three daughters?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good luck!

36 is divisible by 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 18 and 36. There are several way to take 3 numbers that will multiply to 36 but the best way is 2,2 and 9. The reason being that the "elder has blonde hair" meaning that the other two girls are twins. The sum of the #s are 13 meaning that that is the # of the house's door. So the answer is: the eldest is 9, and the twins are both 2. burning_eyes It took me a long time to figure it out. sweatdrop

A man walks into a bar, then orders a glass of water. Immediately, the bartender pulls a gun on the customer, who thanks the bartender and walks out, whistling a happy tune. WTF just happened?
