You can usually take cake decorating classes at a craft store (like Michaels in Canada at least). You should check that out. Also you need some equipment. And LOTS of practice... I am no where NEAR that.

Wow- very impressive cake and apple!! My food is usually piled on a plate and eaten in front of the tv...never has anything looked that good! I can't say I really have the time to make my food look like that either though...

Wow! You guys are amazing! I garnish almost all of my food (even when it's something pathetic like a plain bowl of rice) but I never really take pictures. The only pictures I have are of my seaweeds-less "sushi" and a cake I made. (I had fifteen minutes to decorate it and that didn't turn out well.) gonk

Well, I've finally decided to post up the picture of my "sushi". It's vegetarian and seaweed free. It looks...hmm...*no words*. xd From left to right: Fire Ball: Super spicy peanut sauce in a rice ball. Teriyaki Tofu Roll: Teriyaki flavoured tofu rolled in rice. (It broke apart before I could get a picture T.T) Ginger Tofu Ball: Shredded ginger and tofu in a rice ball. (I used a bit too much ginger x.x) Banana Walnut Breaded Sushi: Sweet rice mixed with banana and walnuts rolled up in a sugar croissant.
