I've been friends with this guy for four years, he calls me his little sister. A bit about him, skip if you want: I take karate class with him and believe me, he is the sweetest, nicest guy in the world. He teaches the kids class, and they just love him. He's so good with them he'll play whatever little kid game they want and he has the time of his life doing it. I have never seen him be mean to anyone. It doesn't matter to him what you look like, your age, how cool you are. He's nice to you no matter what. The Actual Problem: So, I know this totally great guy, and he has to suffer through life alone. He doesn't have god, all he has is people, and they have their own problems to deal with, they can't help you like god can. Also, I always just feel so good when I pray, worship, listen to sermons, talk about god, listen to christian music etc. I just feel this amazing joy, god's unrelenting love; and it breaks my heart that he's never felt that and can't feel it. And after stumbling through this empty atheist life all alone, what does he get for it? An eternity burning in hell! I can't let that happen to him, I won't let my big brother go through that! And there's more. JHe is 4 years older than me. He's a young man and I'm just a teenaged girl. I need him to take me seriously. Still more, I recently tried to minister to a friend, she hates me now. I'm terrified to talk to him about anything religion related. If he hated me, I wouldn't be able to take it. heart Thank you all so much for reading this far! heart Any advice on any of these things will make me biggrin SO HAPPY! biggrin

start off with just praying for him, because sometimes people need to find God on their own. sorry if i sound rude, but sometimes it's better that way. mention God but don't try ministering to him, unless he wants to listen for sure. be paitient and continue praying for your friend

Maybye your right. People who feel they are having god forced on them usually just avoid it more. *sigh* okay.

Let me start off with prayer. Believe it or not prayer is the most powerful weapon you have. God loves to hear your prayers, and He can't wait til the next time you talk with Him, so TALK TO HIM! Let Him know how you feel, cuz He feels the same way, and if you're really persistent about it, He will work something out. That's a guarantee. In due time He will bring the right moment up and you will know when that is. Just be patient and pray. I'll be praying for this guy too.
