Kisho had wandered away from his pack to, more or less, explore and patrol the area. His family still resided near the Pridelands, and while this premoted ideas of peace, he still felt it logical to keep on alert. With so many lions there, it was impossible for every single individual to be a good seed, right? It was more out of caution then anything else. It seemed unlikely that he'd meet anyone of such a nature.

He paused his steps for a moment among the tall, golden grasses, his crimson gaze turning like pre-programed clockwork. His posture was alert and knowing. It was funny that a seer would bother with something like this. Why not simply look into the future. But Kisho found his gift unnecessary and rarely used it. Finding the coast was still clear he kept moving steadily, with purpose.

Still puppy-like in her personality, Badiri'umdansi had wandered away from Indy a while ago. He was fun to tag along and harass, but still, he was family and he did get boring after a while. Thus, while he was out cavorting with a female, she knew nothing of it. Of course, she'd be kicking herself to be missing that opportunity. However, much to Indy's appreciation, she was quite oblivious. Instead, Badiri was trotting across the land, within nothing in particular to do. Her steps included slight skips and hops, almost in dance-like fashion. Surely there had to be someone around, that would be more fun that Indy was, right?

Her steps drug her farther away from Indy's location, and closer towards Kisho, though her lack of attention would likely be the cause of her missing a good opportunity to be a pest. Here she was, a dark form in the midst of light colored surroundings, hard to miss and a perfect target for anything to come hopping by and pouncing on her, and yet she acted like nothing in the world would stand in her way, or bother her. Either she was a brave soul, or a strange one. It was likely to be the latter than the former.

Kisho paused again, this time because movement caught his attention. He turned his head, looking out over the swaying golden grasses. He spotted a dark form and felt his whole body go into a calm, but ready to act state. He lifted his nose to the wind, though it was blowing neither toward nor away from the figure. So, he moved with careful steps a little south so he could catch the scent better. When he did he realized it was another wilddog, female.

This information was of little interest to him, really, except that it wasn't a hostile lion. The only real thing he took from it was that there could be another wilddog pack in the area. And while he didn't fear for the well being of his pack, since they were large and strong, violence was always an option that seemed rather unnecissary. So he decided to venture forward and pick her brain, so to speak. To see if there was really any need to negociate.

As abrupt as could be, Badiri changed directions, leaping in almost a ninety degree angle from the direction she'd been going. This swift change in direction, brought her in line towards Kisho, though, as intent on the dance as she was, it was a fair assumption she'd probably end up running over the top of him without noticing. However, assumptions were usually not correct. A few steps after turning, Badiri raised ice blue eyes up in Kisho's direction, aiming an award winning smile towards him. It wasn't clear whether she'd actually seen him, or if she were flashing that smile to an imaginary audience.

Earth to Badiri, come in Badiri....

Houston, we have a problem. Badiri seems to be lacking on oxygen, run backup tanks immediately....

'Course, if those baby blues had seen Kisho immediately, they sure didn't register to her brain right away. Delayed reaction between point A and point B. It's possible, a normal dog acting like her, would've stopped upon sight of another, and felt like dying of embarassment. However, an audience, a true audience to her amusement, would've been more of an incentive to continue, for her. Keep in mind, Badiri wasn't always a dork, just when she was in an exceptionally good mood. Which, whether it was fortunate or unfortunate for Kisho, she was in, at this point in time.

Kisho stopped as she drew nearer, for it appeared she was coming to him...even if she was doing so in an odd way. Her eyes didn't look too in focus, and her expression seemed a bit day dreamy, so he wasn't quite sure what she was up to. No matter, he still had to talk with her and see what he could find out. "I'd like to have a word with you," he said simply as she drew near. It was blunt and too the point-completely within his nature. The only times where he would use words loosely was around his family. A complete stranger was not worth such a waste of breath, really.

And thus audio was enabled...

Snapping out of whatEVER had gotten into her, Badiri perked a brow, trotting over to Kisho as if nothing strange had ever happened. "A word you get, and multiples even. Isn't it your lucky day?" Settling down, the dark female sat down in front of him. "All formality aside, considering I'm not a fan of it at all. My name's Badiri'umdansi. You can call me whatever you wish to shorten from it, I don't mind at all. And you, sir are...?" Well, at least she was being truthful. She did have a dislike for formality. It left little room for truly appreciating and getting to know someone if they were rigid and stick-like from trying to be proper. She saw it as a hindrance than a help, and thus pointed it out instantly.

"So what would you like to know?" Amusement flickered in her eyes, reflecting the smooth, naturally wolfish smile she held upon her muzzle. He was a stranger, and yet she seemed perfectly relaxed in his company. More so, she seemed more relaxed with herself in general, not caring to put up a front for everyone else to see. Didn't matter if she were seen as weird, she was who she was, and albeit a bit naive, she wasn't going to change.

Boy was this female chatty. Kisho's expression was static, one could even go so far to say disinterested. Only 1 out of her 53 words spoken were of any use to him. The rest was a waste of her breath and a waste of him hearing it. He could care less if she liked ot disliked formalities, for it was irrelavent really. He wasn't being formal-he was being straight to the point. "Kisho," she stated flatly before continuing with his question, adding no elaborate words or greetings, "Are you part of a pack near by?" His blood red eyes were calculating as he watched her.

An eyebrow quirked ever so slightly. This one was about as much fun as a dead log. Or maybe Indy. Either way, neither were very fun for very long. Boy, he sure knew how to spoil a girl's fun, but hey, she'd run with it.

"Well, mr. serious, if you must know without any general conversation leading up to such a demanding question, I shall answer you with my own conversation leading up to what you want to know.

"I am but a wandering soul, simply happy to enjoy life as it comes, without having anything to hold me back. Other than a staunchy cousin who's about as lively as you are, by the looks of it." It was here she chuckled slightly. "I am not part of a pack, and have yet to see many other dogs around, for that matter. You, my stoic new friend, are one of two I have seen in a while and one of those happens to be my cousin, so I dare say he doesn't count.

"How's that for an answer?" She was playful, probably a bit too much, to him, but she meant well. She was harmless, in more ways than one.

Kisho listened passively, only truly hearing the relavent information. Blabla bla bla...I am not part of a pack...bla bla bla...Yep, that was about it. He gave her a complete disinterested look, "It was quite a waste of words." But in the long run she had answered his question, which was all that mattered. So she was a rogue. No reason to stick around then. She would be no trouble for his pack and that was all that mattered. So with that he began to walk again, intending to head away since there was nothing left to bother with.

The wild dog femme snorted slightly, before jogging to catch up with Kisho. He wasn't gonna get away with the stoney silence and harsh 'few of words' attitude as long as she was around. 'Course, she was probably just torturing herself by following, instead of going on her merry way.

"Oh come on, Mr Serious. You can't be all business and no play. That's a recipe for disaster in ANYONE's book. So, tell me, to start with... What pack are you from?" She was going to get more than 10 words out of him at a time, or she was going to die trying. No one could be a stiff for long without breaking at some point.

Oh boy. Was she still here? Females always seemed to be so irrational. She had no purpose to trail after him, no purpose to spew the random words she was saying, and certainly had no reason to know what his pack was. It wasn't as if she was going to join it. But factual information was a little easier for Kisho to pass along-or at least, it was something he was more willing to say. But he certainly wasn't going to say more then what was needed, so his response only included it's name, "The Hamaji."

Regarding him with a sharp icy blue eye, Badiri nodded, taking in the words, mulling them over before storing them for later. "And your family? Certainly you do have one, right?" It wasn't a far fetched idea to say she was getting even slightly exasperated by him. Even she had her limits on how many stony answers she took before she finally would be willing to go on her way and leave him to his unfriendly silence.

Her paw-steps grew less bouncy and a bit more... 'normal' as the case might be. She honestly didn't understand how someone could be so absolutely stuck on himself that he couldn't grace a fellow dog with a decent conversation. If he kept it up, she was likely to give him a piece of her mind on that, even.
