Does anyone do Yoga? I've always been interested in yoga and took my first class about 4 months ago (Kundalini). Unfortunatly due to a sudden hectic schedual (new job extra class etc..) I was only able to attend one or two classes.
I just signed up for Bikram yoga and will be attending my frist class tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous but excited at the same time. I was wonder if anyone else does this kind or any other kind of yoga. If so which kind and how do you think it has changed you (if at all)?
Some tips would be nice too ^ ^
I don't have a mat or "official" yoga cloths but I was going to rent a mat and just wear some shorts and a shirt. I think that yoga and buddhism are very closely related and just wanted to know what everyone else thinks.

I had some Yoga lessons and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunatly it is too expensive for me at the moment taking lessons... sad But I have a practice CD, I practice every morning a program of 15 minutes. It's a wonderful start into the day!!!! heart

I used to do it more often, and it was always really nice, but I haven't been bothering lately.

What kind does everyone do? I don't have much time to go to class because of school and work...and it's kind of out of the way so my parents don't like to drive me there that much/don't have time to drive me either.
I have a dvd and I'm trying to do some of it at home.

I tend to sit full lotus position during my meditation so I open up by doing a few yoga moves. That way I'm less likly to hurt myself and it makes taking the position so much easier.

I've just started taking yoga classes, (Vinyasa Flow to be exact), my math teacher actually got me interested. Honestly I use to laugh at the thought of ever doing yoga, thought it was wimpy. I was completely wrong about that thought. I was sooo sore after my first class. Lol.
How it's changed me? I started taking it because of my anger issues, my teacher unkowningly convinced me to try it, cause she to has/had some anger issues. So, I tried it once and I've been going ever since. I go to my schools yoga club that my teacher teaches, and to Prana Power where she teaches as well. And I just love it, cause the way she teaches it she tells the class not to be embarassed when doing the poses. And not to get mad if you can't do a certian pose that day. (I have a bad habit of beating myself up over stupid things that I don't get right away or that I mess up.) So I can't wait to see how Vinyasa Flow will change me after I take it for a couple of years.
