Or a load of lies? I've found this story on the net... so I'm not sure if its are true or not. Quote: In 1965, 14 year old Kathleen and 2 of her girlfriends were playing with a Ouija board. Kathleen asked "who will I marry?" The Ouija board answered "Dave". Kathleen asked again. She didn't know anyone named Dave, and her boyfriend's name was Billy. The Ouija board again spelled out D-A-V-E Kathleen asked "Where is Billy", knowing that he was at his job in town. This time the board spelled D-E-A-T-H Kathleen and her friends were skeptical and asked again. With the same result. Later that night Kathleen's mother came into her room, to tell her that Billy had been killed in a car accident on his way to work that afternoon. Kathleen is today happily married to Dave Stephens. Debate.

Debate a myth you found on the internet?
It's the internet, do you have any idea how many stories like that are floating around almost all of which have no basis in reality? neutral
I won't say for sure one way or the other whether they work or not, not having ever used one myself. However I will say that they're either a stupid game or something people shouldn't be playing with.

I do know the Ouija boards aren't anything to play with. They open up more doors then a million people could close and a lot of things come in by that. Although, they are normally accuret that I know of so. I wouldn't doubt that being real.

When I say it has no basis in reality, I'm telling you that the person in the story, "Kathleen", is likely an entirely made up character and this story just a simple work in fiction.

Most things in fairytales that we believe are simply that a fairytale are true. They actually did happen, sure maybe she's made up or it could have just changed her name.

Those are tall tales, fairy tales are purely works of fiction. Tall tales are the ones that are occasionally the immortalization of real life figures.

Either way it could be real. Although some parts like her boyfriend died that night may have been exaggerated.

Hello!Goodbye! I don't believe that actually works. People could manipulate them too much for them too properly work.
And that story you found could be like one of those chain letters that say. "If U Dnt Rpot Dis He Wil Kil U!!1!!one!!!eleven!11" I'm Late I'm Late I'm Late!

I personally believe that they are real and that they serve a purpose. Milton bradley just mass produced a tool that witches had been using for their own practices and marketed it for entertainment purposes. Though we have to look at the answers carefully, because half of them can be construed as lies.

I think that they are definitely not to be messed with lightly, and also you have to trust whoever you are doing it with not to move it.

Ok I have used the Milton bradley ouija board pure crap. We would never get straight answers. The real ones however are not something to play around with. They do open doors and you might get stuck with some guests in your house. So be careful when useing ouija board. Make sure to bless it before you used it and close the door when your done.
