XD my mom taught me the bare basics of crocheting (as she hasn't done it since she was pregnant with my older brother, so about 25/26ish years ago~) and yeah... I only know how to do the foundation chain and then single crochet stitches...
I feel so proud that I'm finally learning this XD

Congratulations wanting to learn. Crochet is an extremely satisfying hobby. Somewhere in this guild there is a thread with crochet help sites, it's probably fallen off of the first page by now though.
