ok my wife and i sometimes have sex and after we have finished i sometimes get dizzy and start trying harder to get air. this is with both soft, easy, slow sex aswell as all out sex. its terrible and sometimes i almost want to pass out. i do have a bone deformity known as pectus excavatum which involves my chest. heres a site incase you would like to read up http://www.pectusinfo.com/facts.htm. also this quote comes from pectusdeformity.com "Also, the respiratory function is reduced, and depending on the severity of the defect, this reduction can be from 10-30%." also here's a picture with my chest to show its severity.

with such problems like this and the amount of energy sexual intercourse can apply, do you think its safe to have sex?

(note: this also seems to apply for close to every time i orgasm)

Embarrassing as it might be, I would ask your doctor about it.

Go see a doctor or stop having sex. Seriously. Is it worth taking the chance that something could be wrong, but you're choosing to ignore it?

No one in here is a medical professional. Even if we COULD guess and tell you what it might be, it's always always best to talk to a medical professional who has a degree and can run tests and tell you what's wrong.

Maybe it's tied to your bone deformity, maybe it's not. But regardless it's not normal and you should seek medical help for it.

Exactly. Even if we are familiar with your deformity, read up on it, whatever, we still can't assume that the same exact rules apply to everyone else who has it. If you want to know what is safe for you specifically, you will have to ask your doctor or someone else who knows a heck of a lot more about it and about you than we do.
