There's a lot of mixed feelings on this news, it seems. People think it will be bad because most other video game anime have not owned up to the games.

I'm pretty optimistic. I'd love for them to go beyond the end of the game like the novels did. heart

Novels? I hope so too, because the goemon anime was really bed neutral

Yup! There have been a few novels out so far. Two of them deal with the aftermath 10 years later. 3nodding

Highlight for spoilers:
For instance, Jennifer and Gordon have a child. Laharl's fear of big breasts is because of his aunt. xd

crying that would be so cool. I just hope I can DL it or watch it on CTN. *wants animenetwork really bad*
O.o Don't they hint at it in Phantom brave that the creators were thinking of making an anime out of it? You know when you talk to the other chars around the island they ocassionaly say "have you played disgaea? A disgaea anime would be cool"
And I don't think it will be to hard to make it into one cause it already has that anime feeling to it. Don't know how it's gonna do compared to other action anime's but it would be a pretty damn funny one. Well thats just what I think.

HOORAYYY!!!

I've been hoping for this since Disgaea first came out! A while back, I even started drawing my own little manga starring one of my original characters in the game...thinking to myself "there must be an anime!"
