Eclipse walked slowly into the HQ. He wasn't really sure where he was ment to go. He pulled along his son who was a little behind him. "This will be good. So you aren't like me."

Apollo shurgged. He used his power to make light and a few objects. Like roses and things. Apollo hadn't really thought about getting help from an elder before.

Sol was sitting in the main room of the HQ, his nose once more in a book, it was his usual pastime, reading that was, and it kept him from going completely nuts. When he heard others enter however, and a voice he'd only heard a little before, he put the book down and stood, moving out into the main hallway.

"Yes? Oh, hello, hear for the lesson? Your son I take it?"

Eclipse saw Sol and smiled. "Hello again, Elder Sol. Yes, this is my son Apollo. I thought it would be good to come and learn from you." He smiled as he held tight to his staff. It was getting darker, but with Apollo's help it wasn't too dark.

Apollo nodded. "Hello, I'm Apollo. It's very nice to meet you Sol." He bowed to the elder. "I would like to learn more." He glowed.

Sol nodded his head. Looking Apollo over, Sol realized that the boy did not do the same thing that he did, however, light was light, be it created from ones person, or through the channeling of hydrogen to create a small stable fusion reaction...

But Sol never did like going into the technicalities of how he did things, it wasn't all the fun, and he was sure Apollo was the same. "Well then, follow me, we'll find a free room and get started,"

Sol tended to be no-nonsense about things like this, and could be a rather stern task master when the need arose. It was not long before he was bast the pair and walking down the hall to find a room to teach Apollo in.

Apollo followed Sol. This was either going to be fun and exciting or not good at all. He glowed nerviously. Still, this would be good for him. He wondered if anyone could help out his dad.

"Is it all right if I come and watch? Or will my power be in the way?" Eclipse had wanted to watch in case he got some tips of his own. Though, he would suck up light that wasn't Apollo's.

"It might help," Sol said and moved into a free room, it was full of chusions, and Sol sat down on one of them, crossing his legs indian style. "We will begin with simple meditation, Mr. Eclipse, you are welcome to join us."

Eclipse nodded. "Oh, okay." he walked over and sat down. He made sure he was still holding tight to the staff. "Might help? Hurmph."

Apollo nodded and did the same. He walked over and sat down. Unlike his father he places his staff on the floor next to hime. He didn't need it all the time like Eclipse.

Sol closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. "Now, focus towards your inside, inside, feel the ball of light within you, and gently coax it out." He kept his eyes shut, inhaling and exhaling slowly, his hands held out before him, finding his center.

Eclipse couldn't really do that, but he did keep his eyes shut. He was instead just trying to not hear the voice. That voice in his head. It was so annoying sometimes. "I know I am but what are you?"

Apollo nodded and shut his eyes tight. He then felt for it. The ball of light inside of him. He knew it was there. He glowed most of the time and could make light, and light objects. So, there must be some kind of light ball inside.

In his calm, Sol could feel his center, the glowing ball of light that was him. He let it radiate out, let the calm consume him, felt his breathing slow, his heart beat to match his breathing. He felt his body grow warm as the light within consumed him.

Sol liked to medidiate at times when he needed the stress relief. It was a good way to acheive calm and inner peace, and it made it easier for him to use his powers.

He lifted his hands and held them before him, generating a small sun between them, nothing special, but that wasn't the purpose of this exercise.

Eclipse sighed as he tried to feel something inside. All he really could feel or hear was the other voice. "What is that dummy doing?" His eyes were open, but hadn't noticed it before. He shut them quick.

"Shh, and stop it." Eclipse wisper outloud.

Apollo felt something inside. He wasn't sure if it was what Sol was talking about or not. Either way, he did make a small light orb in his hands.

Sol slowly allowed the first sun to become two, those two, four, those four, eight, those eight, sixteen, those sixteen, thirty-two... and so on, until all around the room, rotating around the roof, were sixty-four small suns, all about the size of a golfball, orbiting the center of the room.

((It is up to you if Eclipse can make eclipses with them or not. Since they are Sol's suns. biggrin ))

Eclipse opened his eyes to see so many little suns. He wondered if he could use his less used power ont them. "Oh, yes, try." The voice said. Eclipse didn't think it would hurt or work so, he tried to make eclipses on the suns.

Apollo could feel something so he opened his eyes. So many small suns floating around the room. He looked in his hands and saw his one little light orb. Would he be that good one day?

Sol watched as his small suns were beginning to eclipse, so he smirked, and soon the sixty-four small suns becamed 128 even smaller suns, his power spreading thin, if he made anymore suns, they would lose the required mass to maintain fusion and wink out. If he made them bigger he could do it... but he was already in the lower end of his upper end.

With so many suns in the room there was a lot of light. With alot of light Eclipse had a hard time doing anything. All his power was going to absorbing the light. It began to hurt. "Ah...eee." He said as he fell backward. It was a good thing the staff was tied to his hand or he would have lost it.

Apollo saw this and dashed over to his father. "Are you okay?" He still had his light orb, but it was okay. Eclipse didn't absorb this light anyway.
