you just now started season 3? Just started season 4 here, so you're not that far behind ^^
You'll understand the Final 5 question once you get further on in the season

In no certain way dose BSG like Star Trek yes they are in space but for one the technology is not that advanced compared to any stuff of Star Trek

The thing with Star Trek was it was a vision of a futuristic utopia - with set right and wrong.
BSG isn't. It's no where near that. You don't have a set right and wrong, good and evil. In fact, there are characters on the show that I'd rather see dead and they're the humans. My favorite character is a cheating b***h - but she's still my favorite wink
You have the science fiction part of it, without the goofy aliens and single episode plot lines. Yes, they're in space - but that's really where the similarity ends.

Your right apart from it being in space there are no more similarities which is good because the shows that end up being to much like star Trek die out to easly

The final five are simply the last five models of human looking cylons. If I tell you anymore, it'd be a spoiler and I'd rather not spoil any more if I can possibly help it.
I'm not sure if Ty is one or not..I /really/ want to say his wife is though. I'm HOPING Starbuck isn't, 'cause she's my favourite character out of the entire series. It wouldn't surprise me if De is, wouldn't surprise me if Chief or Calli end up being one. Helo can't be, because he's Hera's father. Apollo can't be since he's got the old man to back up when he was born. The old man can't be because - well - he's the old man.
I've got a few theories, but I can't say we'll find out for sure until they tell us, ne?
