A gaint willow tree sits up a hill that over looks a giant river that passes through. The sun is shining bright and birds are chirping happily. A slight brezze passes though from time ti time.
Kai gazed at the river from underneath the tree. 'What a nice view...' he thought with a sigh. He had just stumbled upon the place.

Typhoon purred softly as he lazed by the river. The sound of the water sluggishly travelling downstrem kept him awake, but he didn't want to fall asleep anyways. A light breeze ruffled his fur and he shivered a little, though not from coldness. It was a peaceful day, and Typhoon had come away from the usual Ulaya hangouts to relax for a little while...

Kai took in a deep breath and stood up. He streched out his back and shook himself. He suddenly had the urge to get a drink. He quickly walked down the hill. He quickly looked around and spotted a Ulaya that was the color of night with a few designes of blue and green on its fur. What mattered the most to Kai was that it was a male. He nothing against males since he was one, but he generally never got along with other males.

Typhoon rolled onto his back and looked up at the clouds drifting by. It was quiet.... He was glad to get away. He hadn't heard the end of Sapphire's story about a meadow, and he could do with a break! Flopping onto his side, Typhoon noticed another male, coloured like a koi fish, walking towards him. His ears perked up.

Kai tensed a little as the other Ulaya noticed his pressence. He slowly walked over an stood infront of him. "Hi....." he mumbled. So much for starting a conversation. It was times like these where he wished he knew how to talk to people properly.

Typhoon flashed a friendly smile. "Hi back. My name's Typhoon..." He stood up so as not to look rude.

"Kai." he replied with a nod. He was being to feel a little nervous around this guy since he was sure of his intenstions.

Typhoon noticed Kai looking a little nervous. He chuckled softly. "Kai, eh? My little sister won't stop going on about you! Nice to finally meet you at last... Oh, and don't mind me, I was just having a lazy day...."

Kai's eyes slightly widened in surprise. "One of Sapphire's brothers, huh?" he replied. Now his curiousity just grew. "I just happened to find this place by chance. I'm still trying to get used to the area." he said as he sat himself down.

Typhoon nodded. "I just kept walking until I found somewhere quiet!" He laughed. "And yeah, Sapphire is my lil sis... She's really smitten with you..."

"Wait....What do you mean by smitten?" Kai asked. He was exactly sure what he mean by that. 'Does that mean she likes me like how I kind of feel for her or does she think of me as a really good friend?' he thought. He was really dense when it came down to relationships.

"Well...I..." Kai mumbled as he looked at the ground. Should he really be telling her brother about this? He didn't even know if he was okay with the idea of someone liking his sister that way. He even had issues when he found out that his little sister was with someone.

Typhoon grinned slightly. "Don't worry.... I'm protective, but I'm sure you wouldn't be mean to Sapphire..." He laughed slightly.

Kai looked back up with a grin. "You are right. " he replied with a nod. He would never be mean to Sapphire. She deserved better than that.
