Often our artwork, poetry, and stories are shown to each other. But there is really no place for Modists to gather around and enjoy the other art forms that we are capable of! While I don't know how to convince the dancing or singing Modists to show off their works, a number of Modista are quite crafty with yarn. 3nodding

The first post will be devoted to links of the works of other Modists and Modista when it comes to any handcrafts that do not mostly involve paper and pencial, ink, etc. Knitting is really high among some of us, so show off your work! I know that Mory does a good amount of sewing and the others do as well. 3nodding

The second post will be links to other sites to help newer people get started and older people to refresh and try out new techniques.

I'm hoping that some of the more skilled Modists and Modista will offer links along with their recent examples and possibly be willing to have their name on the contact list of who to talk to when the crafter hits a snag. heart

Happy Crafting!

The pentagram sjawl I'm still working on. It is a big sjawl. Every row takes 175 stitches. I use size 5 pens and wool I found on a flea market.

Brown wool cap, I crochet this very quick. If anybody is interrested in how to make your own, I could try to explain, but I don;t know the correct english terms. sweatdrop

oh... and... my first sock redface redface
Learning to make socks from a book is just not a good idea. ninja

A HIP POUCH I lined for El Styskel. I'm sorry it's long over due.
A WOLF HAT a classmate ordered after his friend told him abou the fox hat I made for him. He wanted an "upside down white crescent" and wolf ears, but I ran out of black yarn so I had to make do with it looking like the ear had been bitten. Which just required "bad a**" piercings. 3nodding
A incomplete WAVY SCARF for the lovely Balcerzak, whose bottomless well of knowledge and kindness for helping me with Calculus this doesn't fill <3
A SHAWL that I ended an extra foot or two onto. It's loose, not too heavy, but comfy and soft and warm.
The SOCKS OF FIDDLER who unfortunatley due to monetary circumstances may not receive or need their warmth by his birthday which I deeply and honestly apologize for sweatdrop
A BLANKET for him as well. I'm sorry I don't have a bear this year that you can wrap up in the blanket Fiddler!
