Bzzt.. shot..Bzt..own, like flies. Bzzt.. n't have a chance. They are...Bzzzt... in droves, by the...Bzzt..ndreds. We won't Bzzt..t. NO! The...Bzzt.. breached! They are Bzzt.. side!" The radio transmission was cut off after the sound of gunfire and an explosion.

Radio Broadcasts

The year is 53 S.A. It has been 53 years since humans began colonizing space. First came the moon, then Mars. Space travel has become much easier. It has become the equivalent of flying a plane. One day we lost all communications to our colony on the moon. The next day they came. The invaders, who have been dubbed "Spartans", are currently occupying our planet.

I am Ian McKellen. I will be broadcasting the only news left. To all who can hear me: I beg of you. Please join the Last Earth Resistance. Help save humanity from genocide. I, myself, am too old to be of any use, but I am doin what I can to spread the word. My past matters not, any more, and neither do yours.
