Dark paws dug marks into the ground and gold markings shimmered under the rays of the sun as the black and gold male slunk across the savannah. He was hunting, though for what was unknown. He was just hungry after all.
A slight growl rang over the savannah as his stomach made it very evident of his reason for hunting despite just for normal fun and training. The growl was louder than it had been in days, maybe that showed something.
Feet tapped once more over the distance and Inondo-mnyama pulled himself down to the ground slightly as he crouched down. A rabbit caught his attention not that far off. If he was lucky enough then maybe he would be able to snag it... maybe. His speed was was rather impressive considering how he was raised by a cheetah and lived a cheetah's life.
As the little thing's nose twitched, Inzondo streaked off and pounced it just as its paws left the ground to flee, blood splattered everywhere and a smile spread over his muzzle. ninja

Sukari skulked through the lands. She had recently hunted herself, leaving on her the stench of the kill. Her claws were still bloody from having dug into the klipspringer that had been her meal. She didn't mind having it there.
However, she could smell blood on the wind that was not from one of her kills. Sukari scowled. She didn't want to run into anyone, but if she had to, she would put up with it. She continued on her way, and if she ran into someone, she ran into them.

Blood drizzled down Inzondo's chin as the large firekin male lifted his head in the direction of large lioness that was walking across the savannah like she had nothing better to do. The blood on her paws made Inzo's ears flick forward, but he normally wasn't one to start a conversation.
So rather than walk towards her or call out, the larger lion ripped a string of meat from the belly of the rabbit and inhaled it, blood oozing over his face in the process. A deep murr came from his muzzle as he quickly finished the rest of the meat off of the rabbit and past a rose colored glance over at the female that was still stalking.
Deep down inside of him, Inzo wondered faintly if she would make a good meal. That was quickly staunched down though as the larger lion dropped the rabbit's carcass and debated going to find something else. ninja

Lucky brute... Sukari thought to herself as she approached the big lion. If I was still hungry, I'd take his rabbit, but.... She had already eaten, and had no interest in stealing the other's food. Although, it would be funny.
She had been searching for some variety of minion, however, and had been investigating every creature she ran into. From bugs to wolves, although they had been the biggest thing she'd run into since she met Trigger.
This lion was as big as Trigger, but she felt somehow he wasn't as strong. She approached him silkily. "What are you doing here?" she spat, as if she owned this particular stretch of land.

"Whatever the hell I feel like doing." Was the curt and rather instantaneous response to her blunt question. She was quite the annoying thing wasn't she? Why would a lioness bug another lion while he was eating?
What did she want anyway?
A sickening noise rent the air as Inzondo pulled the last of the meat from the rabbit and tossed it's useless carcass of bone and skin away. Thanks to the lioness he wasn't in a good mood, maybe he should just go and find Trigger again so he could talk to him about this position that he wanted him in. It confused him enough without having to deal with a b***h of a lioness on top of it.
Frowning in her direction, Inzondo stretched out his blood stained feet and stood, gold shimmering in the light. ninja

"Insolent swine," Sukari muttered, almost inaudiably. She straightened up. "I'm not really in search of much... But you're not what I'm looking for." She stated, turning her nose up with light humph shortly after. He was too... Annoying for her taste. He'd have to be broken, and she didn't have time for such busy-work.
I knew I should've taken that moron Liza while I had the chance... Sukari thought angrily to herself, making herself more angry with the state of things.

"Believe me, I didn't ask or care what you're in search of." He told her to belay any thoughts she'd have of him, thinking that he cared what she thought. Really? What the hell?
"If I'm not what you're looking for then why don't you just go away and stop wasting my time and mood? I don't have breath to waste on the likes of you." the snarl came as the lion strode past her, his shoulders rolling as he walked. He needed to find Trigger anyway, so why would he waste his time on her? A pride was more important than any b***h that was looking for something and wasting his time with it.
The black and gold lion believed that any time someone was searching for something and it wasn't him, then they were wasting his and their time. If she had a question to ask she could just ask it, he'd answer, but to call him a swine when he could hear it and then act like she was queen of the world... no, he wouldn't stand by and let her waste his time like that. That wasn't a question and didn't need an answer.
"Would that all of us could waste our time as such, hopefully Trigger's pride isn't this useless." Inzondo said to himself as he passed her. ninja

Sukari's ears perked up quickly. She wasn't looking for Trigger's pride, but she would certainly continue to pause her search for a canine for it.
"How do you know of Trigger's pride?" Sukari snarled, swivelling to face Inzondo. Sukari had just recently been informed by Trigger that she would be captain in his division of the pride, and hoped that she wouldn't be working side-by-side with this... beast.

"Not that it's any business of yours but he labled me as a Major for some reason. I hardly understand why but there you have it." Inzo said, not bristling or snarling at all, rather laying his fur down and looking over at Sukari bluntly. She wasn't that smart of a female and he didn't quite understand why she was given the honor of having ANY title within the pride, but that was Trigger's choice and not his own.
However if he had to deal with her for some reason or another he would find himself getting more than his fair share of headaches he assumed. ninja

Sukari didn't know quite what to make of the male's insolence. She'd have to learn to live with it if she was going to be on the same tier as him... And since she didn't have the force to make him treat her with more respect... She grunted at the thought.
It wasn't exactly like she was showing any respect herself, but... That wasn't in Sukari's nature.
