Um... I don't think I'm the captain. But I am part of the crew. And I would have thought that the fact that I PMed you about that would have clued you in to that I wanted to settle that privately like civilized people instead of making a scene. However since you incest on doing this publicy, I will explain my actions as best as I can.

If you didn't think that it should have been locked you should have unlocked it and PMed me explaining why or said something in the crew subforum and explained. Had you done so I would have gladly changed it and taken back what I said. Instead you decided to post in a locked thread making locking it useless. I fought with you guys about that rule against spam stating that we were a spam guild, so you guys changed it so that we weren't. Now that that rule is in place I entend to inforce it. If spam is posted, I will lock the thread. That's the rules. You promoted me to make sure that rules weren't broken. That's the crew's role in a guild. I wazs doing my job. If you don't think I did the right thing, I would hope that you would know better than to undermine me in the thread. I'll never mind if you confront me about a decision I made in private, but in front of everyone is another story. As I said in the PM it would have been better to contact me via PM or post in the crew subforum if you disagreed with me.

As for me thinking that I'm captain, I hardly act as though I'm captain. I always give you the final word in issues. I always make sure you post your opinion in the crew subforum before acting on something there. I always make sure that you aprove of anything big that goes on in this guild and I will continue to do so because it is your guild. It's as simple as that. However I do not expect to have to make sure it's okay with you every time I feel that it is necessary to lock a thread. If something breaks the rules, whether that rule breaking was intentional or not, it is my job to put an end to it and one of the ways to do that is lock a thread. That thread had an interesting title, and if the author had carried on and explained that title in the topic it would have had discussion value. However as it was the only thing to discuss was why they didn't follow up on what they said in the title. It was you who told me that spam was against the rules because we were no longer a spam guild. I locked a thread that I felt was spam. Honestally, I don't see what I did wrong. If you didn't like what I did, you could have easily confronted me via PMs or the Crew subforum. That's what they're there for.

Now, please don't make me do this in front of everyone again. I like to have my arguments in private, if it's all the same. And I don't want this to effect our relationship, which it is more likely to do if everyone sees us arguing. So please, I beg of you, PM me or make a topic in the crew subforum and we can discuss this more there.

To everyone else, this is a private matter between Mr.P and I. While I disagree with his decision to post in the topic I locked and then again here I always have and always will stand by him in whatever decision he makes. This argument does not give you an excuse to undermine him or myself no matter who you feel is right. Of course, I'm sure none of you would do that. ^^ I'm just making sure it's clear.

To [~disturbed.neko~], I'm sorry that this had to become so public. I know that you did not mean to break that rule as I have already told you. However I feel that the topic should remain locked as it is still breaking that rule whether it was intentionally broken or not.
