This is a poll asking wether or not you rent anime, and if so, from which places.

Hi no Neko Just a week ago I rented Evangelion DVD #2 (Original print, not the fancy new platinum remastered director editions.) from a local video rental place called Vulcan Video. 3nodding Eva Platinum is really good. I'd recommend looking into it. I also rent from Blockbuster as well as beginning to get things off of Netflix.

I usually rent my anime from a small store devoted to asian pop culture and entertainment. Although I havn't been able to get in there for a while. Due to my lack of disposable income. sad

On occasion, from several locations. There's a Family Video a ten-minute walk from my apartment and an Asian video rental just below my apartment that has some anime.

I did when I was little. I had no money to pay and my parents certainly didn't wanna do it so I had no choice but to rent. Bad experiences. I don't plan to in the future.

I occassionally rent anime from Blockbuster, but I generally watch what's on TV or get it from my library, if they have it.

I don't rent. I hate renting things, much as I hate borrowing books from the library (unless it's for the sake of reference materials.) If I want to watch or read something, then I want to own it. I tend to know my tastes well enough that I rarely purchase something I won't enjoy, so I feel I may as well buy it the first time and have the option of watching again at my leisure.
That, and I'm dreadfully material. Mine.

No. Well...At least not anymore. Renting anime isn't the best way of getting it cause the disks or VHS tapes could all be screwed up and scratched, so then you need to go all the way back, basically in one night, just so you can wait in a horribly long line just so you can get a refund. Or a series of questions asking, "Did you do this?" even if you only had it for five minutes. They just wanna blame someone, so they can get the money for other crap...
