I think if you're looking for a very very large museum, the Art Museum in Washington DC is huge. It is so beautiful there. You really have to spend the whole day there. There is this long hallway in a tunnel that you walk through to go to another art museum. Its great. I think my favorite art museum is The Walter's Art Gallery in Baltimore, MD. Its not as big as the one in DC. It is full of beautiful collections. They have everything seperated in a way that makes alot of sense.

Some art nor painting is like 1000 words. It can be anything. Maybe a famous person that inspired us to do what you dreamed of. whee It can be your loved ones that is not here. crying (you know up there...)
It is good to be colorful in your feelings as in your feeling the "blues."
And yes I visited alittle bit of museums before but not much as I disire. I don't know which one I like best I just love them all for all those hard work to find amuzing ancient items from the wonderous past before us.♥

I like some art museums; others I'm not thrilled with. I visited the National Gallery in London when I was there a couple summers ago and that one was absolutely amazing. It was the first time I'd been able to see authentic Monet, Seurat, van Gogh, etc. paintings in real life. So awesome. I've been to the Taft Art Museum in Cincinnati, but I don't like that one all that much. It has beautiful pieces, but I think I've been to it about 10 too many times. I've been to...shoot...another one in Cincinnati, but I can't remember the name of it. I wasn't overly fond of that one, either. It could very well be that it's called the Cincinnati Art Museum and I'm just being stupid. lol As far as which I think is the best of the ones I've been to, definitely the National Gallery in London.

I enjoy some museums, but others tend to bore me a bit sweatdrop I like to just look, then go and think about it later rather than spend 4 hours in a huge building. Probably the best art exhibit I've ever seen though, was in the big gallery in Vancouver on Robson St. (I forget the actual name but...) it was an exhibit on Emily Carr. It's not really my type of art but I've gotta admit, I was really impressed. heart

Cincinnati has one of the best Art Museums in the Midwest. We have Renoirs, Picasso's and have been the visitation site for Van Gogh, Monet, Da Vinci, and Rembrandt, just to name a few. In fact, we had the distinction of almost being robbed of the Mona Lisa once!!
