what do you think of him now that he is the proud owner of a super bowl XLI ring.

(P.S. no flaming you can disagree but dont take it too far)

I think that people will leave him alanoe for just winning the AFC.
The bears are gonna win, but manning did a great job getting to the superbowl after lossing so many times and it's not very easy so give him credit.

The Bears will lose the Colts defense will tear apart Grossman but I'm happy he finally gets a shot at a Super Bowl

Colts will beat the Bears. even though chicago was good i think the colts will win by a landslide maybe.

I sorta made my piece be known in the topic named Colts win... so does Manning. But in Short I agree. Im glad Manning can get the moneky off his back.
Secondly I think the colts will win but I dont think it will be a blow out by anymeans. The bears are in the SuperBowl for a reason and they are good. But I still thin the Colts D has a better chance of stopping the Bears O more times than the Bears D with the two injuries will Stop the Colts O.

has anyone else heard the rumors that if Peyton wins it this year he will retire. I for one think that theory is as credible as the rumors of Pete Carol leaving USC to go coach at Arizona so he could keep coaching Lienart was.

Lol yeah Peyton's not going to retire lol. He is in the prime of his career. He's going to be around for AT LEAST 5 more years. I guess some people who are afraid of failure think that they would win then quit to assure they went out on top. But any athlete knows thats not how we work. We want to compete and be the best or at least strive at being the best, as long as we can logically do so. There is a point where you have to assess whether or not you can compete at that level or not, but manning is far from that.

Manning retiring now would be the dumbest thing...he's in his prime and set to become one of the greatest QBs of all time if he wins the super bowl this year he'll probably win or get to another one I'm sure.

@ halo dude: He needs to win it now because if he thinks he'll be there next year it'll probably result in him losing a playoff game and not making it so this is the year

He never won it. His running backs won it. To me and many many many people that I know, we all are pretty much in agreement that the NFL gave that to him so they dont have another Marino controversy.
