I would of probably went along with it. Marty is her friend and she didn't want to ruin there friendship. Though they could of probalby told marty's girlfriend instead of keepin it a secret.

i think the girlfriend's name was lucy.... that was one of the two girls names... anyways, i think she should have said she knew him before he could have said anything... but if she didnt' get to it in time then she should have gone along with it for a minute and ask him "wats up" when they were alone...

Rory made the wrong choice she should have said that marty had once asked her out but i also thought that marty's girlfriend over reacted
