Sniff sniff. Sniff sniff. Aurora was bounding about the Feli house, sniffing around for the odd scent that caught her nose.
"Where aarrrreeee yoooou little smeeeeeelllll?" the blue-pink-green-blue feli whine, crawling under furniture, onto shelves, and even once falling into the kitchen sink.. she just kinda floated in that though...
"WHAT'S THAT SMEEEEEELLLLLLLL?" she whined LOUDLY.
She'd start complaining in portuguese soon enough.

Spying the other young feli sniffing around, Mithril couldnt help poking her head out from where she was hidden. This feli didnt look dangerous.
"What'ch'ya smellin?" she asked cautiously, eyeing the other kid up and down.

Sniffsniffsniff. The blue-kit looked up at the other kit and approached her cautiously, sniffing her a little. "...... I'm smelling something." she explained. "But I can't put my paw on what it is." Aurora added, rising up onto her hind paws to sniff the air a little.
"Can you not smell it? It smells kinda... salty...."

Lifting her nose into the air and giving a delicate sniff, Mithril realized that she smelled nothing at all. "No....but I've never tried to smell anything before. Maybe my nose is broken?"

Sniff sniff. Aurora blinked. "Or maybe I can smell it because I'm sensitive to it?" she inquired, tilting her head to the side.
.. What Aurora didn't realize was that the scent she'd picked up was her own, as she continually smelt like the ocean.

Still standing a ways away, Mithril had no idea that the other feli was the source of the smell.
"Well maybe if I stand where you are standing, I will smell it too?" she trotted over, trying to stand as close as she could to the other, even going so far as to touch her paws to the others. Her nostrils flared as she sniffed deeply.
Her eyes flew open and she bounced away in one quick motion.
"ITS YOUUUUUUUUUUUU! YOU SMELL LIKE .... LIKE ... LIKE SOMETHING I DONT KNOW"

Squeak~! Aurora blinked a few times at the sudden jumping of around ((XD;; I love adding in random 'of's)) and lifted one paw, sniffing it, then pulled it away from her nose.
"I smell like... salt water.." she blinked, sniffing her paw again.
".. GREAT~! .. Now I have nothing to do.." she concluded.
