"Oh, what are we going to do today precious?" Rokopelli chirped, bouncing from rock, to twig, to leaf in an acrobatic show of stamina and accuracy.

It seemed she had scared of her familiar yet again with her distraught and often maniac behaviour. Rokopelli was of course, insane as per usual.

"Shall we hop over there? Or....over there? Oh where shall we go!?" She flapped her multi-coloured wings and reared up on her hind-legs peering around attentatively. She was an energetic little cub.

Edit
A flash of rainbow colours was hard to miss in a less colourful landscape. Curiousity got the better of Rahima, who stood out as well, but no where near as much as the cub. The lionness though perhaps that it was one of the raindbow birds from the myths...She smiled when she realised what it was. A little godling, how odd.

Kimaria
"Whose that over there?" Roko whispered excitedly, turning to inwardly face her other self. Pelli seemed to be a little miffed that yet again her other half was asking such a question.

"That's a lioness silly!"

"Mummy?"

"No, not mummy!

The Godling seemed to pull herself together then and in a flurry had leapt up and dashed towards this other with a look of curiosity on her face. "Hello there! We wants to know your name!"

Edit
"I'm called Rahima. And what is your name?" The crimson female sat back and studied Rokopelli. Muroki would have adored her - what with her Egyptian looks. Muroki....no, no. Now was not a time to remember her own oldest trio of children. It only made Rahima bad tempored.

Kimaria
"Name? We have a name?" Rokopelli turned to gaze from one side to the other, her bi-coloured eyes twitching from side to side. Then suddenly understanding flickered in her orange and purple eyes and she nodded.

"Oh yes, we have a name! Many many names we do precious!"

She seemed to bubble with unexpected energy and bounded forwards. "We can be called...Rokopelli! Or Idiot if you like. Mum liked to call us that all the time."

Edit
'We'? Perhaps the young goddess was referring to a dearly loved imaginary friend, or someone Rahima couldn't see...after all, it was an odd world they lived in. The superstitious lionness decided that even if it was just cubs play, she'd better ask, incase she offended some invisable spirit known to gods and not mortals.

"I'm pleased to meet you. Forgive me, but how many are there of you?"

Kimaria
The little Goddess blinked and gave a small sniff, turning her eyes curiously up to this red lioness. She sure was being very strange!

"Lioness does not know of us?"

"No she does not! We must not be known here!"

Her wings fell still and Rokopelli's two personalities seemed to connect together once more. "We are we! We are Rokopelli! One, two, three!"

"Not three, two!"

"Two?"

"Yes."

"Not three?"

"No..."

"Oh..."

Silence.

Edit
"Three. Hmm."

She was not going to think of the cubs she had know who used plurals and had three, two, one imaginary friends. Funny, how most lions grew out of such things. Though, a god wasn't wholey a lion, perhaps? Most looked part bird....though surely no lion had ever taken a bird as a mate outside of myth....though myths have truth in them....and gods used to be rare and thought only to be myth....

Rahima's mind had wandered.

Kimaria
The cub blinked, looked lost and then began to hum, counting in tune with her pacing. "One~ two~ three~ lots of fun for meee~ four~ five~ six~ don't step on sticks~"

Then she was turning back to the lioness and blinking up in slight boredom. "What are you staring at precious? We want to know! We get bored and we don't like to be bored. No we don't!"

Edit
"I'm not staring. I'm sorry you're bored...if you'd rather, I can go and leave you to your play." One eyebrow rose. Godlings were clearly like cubs. Never mind her musings.

Kimaria
"Would you like to meet our other friends?" She asked, and suddenly the eyes of the snake on her headdress were glowing. "We show you our other friends.

She reared back on her hind legs and extended her bangled forepaws, wings outstretched to hold her balanced.

Her own eyes took upon an unnatural glow and suddenly the bangles on her paws began to writhe. Their golden bodies and jewelled eyes seeming to be alive and suddenly both snakes were shifting back to point their narrow faces at Rahima.

"Friends!" Rokopelli giggled! "You want to hold the precious?"

Edit
"Oh, I don't mind if I hold them or not. But they are very pretty friends, Rokopelli."
Now that was power. Either those were snakes turned gold, gold given life or an illusion. What was she god of? Hmm?

Kimaria
"Very pretty yes!" She lowered her forepaws and let the snakes uncoil themselves, slowly slithering across the ground to hang around Rahima. They hissed quietly, their ruby and emerald eyes shining up at the older lioness.

"They look you! The precious like you! We like you too!"

She bounced on her paws and her jewellery jangled happily. Yet the moment she lost her concentration the power faded and the snakes returned to bangles.

"Oh!"

Edit
"I like them and you too." Rahima carefully passed the now-still snakes back to their owner, with a chuckle. A great power, that made great and expensive seeming toys.

Kimaria
She slipped them back on her paws and then gave a small nod in reply, flapping her wings and taking to the air.

"Wheee!" Then with a high-pitched giggle the godling zipped overhead. "We must go now! We have to go find Nyoka!" And with that she was gone. Flitting away as mysteriously as she appeared.
